I continue to be very happy with the work done by Paul. Most recently he serviced my Central AC and explained everything needed to get the system running properly. He completed the work in a timely manner as usual. Paul also replaced my furnace 3 years ago and took the time to explain how the new heating system worked and how it would be more efficient than the old broken down furnace. This is the fourth time I have had Paul help me with my heating and air conditioning needs. He is by far the best in the industry that I have dealt with.
Paul returned calls promptly and was willing to provide the service necessary within my schedule. He was in constant communication to keep me updated on his scheduled time to arrive at the house. Repairs and adjustments were made as needed and the furnace was once again functioning. Would recommend to anyone that needs HVAC maintenance or repair.
Great experience. AC is working again! Fit us in same day and was able to resolve the issue. Price was more than far.
Appt scheduled for first thing Monday, called and said he had an emergency but he'd call back to reschedule that afternoon. Never did then called that night saying he'd be there Tuesday. Never showed and didn't call for a few days asking if we still needed help. At that point we already had another company come out.
I really hate leaving negative reviews, but read the other Google reviews about Paul just not showing up. Three out of the other nine involve him not going to his appointments. Appt 1: He called and cancelled 30 minutes after the appointment was supposed to start. Appt 2: I "cancelled" one hour 10 min after he didn't arrive. Appt 3: He just never showed up. And the reason I am leaving this review: he's not returning calls. It's very frustrating when every appointment means cancelling/rescheduling work meetings and making sure the family, including young ones, are ready to mask up or leave the house (for everyone's safety) for the duration of the appointment. I am sure there are emergencies and pandemic issues that Paul is dealing with, but 3 consecutive missed appointments followed by ghosting me is unprofessional. Would not recommend.
I have used AAM for a number of years now. Purchased my house with aged AC systems. Paul has helped me through a number of repairs and finally a full system replacement. Paul is an expert in his field and explains everything along the way. I appreciate his honesty and integrity. I highly recommend Paul for any of your AC needs.
Our furnace started billowing smoke in the wee hours of the morning, setting off the fire alarm and carbon monoxide detector in mid Nov in New England. The temp was a frosty 32 degrees and with the furnace out of commission, I turned to Paul/American Air Mechanical. Paul made time to accommodate this emergency call and came to clean out the smoke pipe, change the core valve and swap in code-complaint ducting in the late afternoon to late evening. He is every bit the perfectionist the other reviews have noted, tuning the electrode placement, adjusting the air/oil pressure just so, and checking draft airflow indoors and out. With access to a master tradesman that live and breath such precision, there is no reason to turn anywhere else for your family’s heating needs. Thanks, Paul, you were a lifesaver!!
Don’t waste you time with this guy.. a lot of texts,calls, then on his way , the a call he was stung by a bee and can’t make it. It’s 5:15 now.. he must not need the business!
We had Paul come out to do our first annual HVAC servicing. We had put it off for far too long. I could write a novel about his professionalism, expertise, love of his craft, but suffice it to say he is the absolute best there is. For everything he did (and it was a lot) his price was unbelievably fair/reasonable. Without any hesitation we highly recommend him. He is just that good.
Never showed up and never heard back from them again.
We hired Paul to re-route our dryer vent, which was much easier said than done. The finished job is EXACTLY why you hire a professional. It wasn't just good, it was perfect... and clearly it was not a simple job. Cost was exactly as quoted. We have several other upcoming projects already lined up for him and will definitely recommend him to others.
I am glad to hire Paul to fix my central AC issues. He is very knowledgeable, kind and professional. He might reschedule or late on schedule which bothered me at the beginning. However I figured why he is doing that because he don't rush or take a short cut to finish the job which delays his schedule. I highly recommend him and I will call him again whenever I had an issue on my AC.
I have been so impressed with American Air Mechanical, LLC. Paul Bernaiche, the owner, has always responded to my emergencies. I have an old oil burner hot water system for my heat and hot water. It has had several problems in the last few years. Paul has come to the rescue each time. If it's an emergency, I know he will come the same day, even when we've had 3' of snow, he's manged to get here. He is reliable, courteous, very knowledgeable about the trade and has fixed each problem. His rates are very, very reasonable. I shopped around before finding him. I highly recommend him and would never consider calling anyone else.
