Originally when they came out Allen did a great job discussing what was wrong with my HVAC and worked with me on which unit to install. Then the day of the installation he showed up around the time he said he would but his help was constantly outside on his phone and I would have to go retrieve him for Allen or answer Allen when he asked where his help was at. Allen also failed to bring all of the parts for the installation. It has now been several months with out a part on my AC. It works but he used screws in various places to hold the unit together which has created a very loud whistle every time the unit comes on. Loud enough to wake my kiddo up since the unit is above the hallway of her bed room. Then we get into the issues of the paint of the wall being scratched from carrying the unit, I found this he didnt tell me it had happened. As well as a leak spot that has formed on my ceiling due to the install. Allen would schedule a 4 hour window to come and complete the job and then call 4 and 5 hours after the window had passed and attempt to say he was on his way. By this point I had missed half a day of work and had to go back. The last time Allen chose to come out to my house he gave another 4 hour window and then called me 52 minutes after that window was over. He said he would be at my house by 1245 or 1 o'clock I was home he did not show up until 122. I had left at 120 for an appointment in town. I passed Allen on the highway so I called him out of common courtesy to let him know I had to run into town and would be right back. When I returned the missing part for my AC was under a vehicle in my driveway and Alan was not there. He did not call me to let me know he was leaving but he notified my home warranty company he was not going to complete the job or come back. I had already made a complaint to them about his lack of professionalism. Very unprofessional and unreliable. I now have to hire another company to come and fix and repair his companies work.
I was having problems with the a/c unit in the master bedroom. I called Allen’s Heating and Air. Mark and Dillon came out, diagnosed and solved the problem in a very timely manner. I asked them to service all three units while they were here. Their prices were very reasonable. I will have them handle the fall unit checkup, as well. I would recommend this company.
Mark and Dillion were prompt and very good about explaining our options. They were also very helpful in explaining exactly what was being done, why ,and the results of their work. It is obvious that they are in the business to help people and treated us as if we were family which was greatly appreciated. Have decided to use them going forward for all our heating and air conditioning needs. Their prices are very fair especially considering the amount of time and effort they put in to help us. Would recommend them to anyone.
we have been doing business with Allen's since the mid 90's we have a total of 5 Heat pump systems between our house and other buildings they have replaced them twice with modern and updated equipment both times and they come out every spring and fall and service and maintain them and they also take care of our business and we recommend them to all of our friends and family and any one else we can
