Charged way too much for the ac to break again too soon
I wish I had read ALL reviews before using this company. Charged me 745$ to add 4 pounds of Freon and a small can of stop leak (mike the technician told me it was 350$ For the stop leak....gave me a 50$ discount to ‘help me’ as mike put it). Lies and price gouging!! Read ALL the reviews. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
I recently had a rare coil failure on my condensing unit outside for my air conditioning system. Alexander Services had to order the part and install it. It took about a week to have the manufacturer build the part and to be installed. The unit was still under warranty and Alexander Services was on top of the repair from start to finish. Since the repair there has been no problem. I find that they always do quality work and it is done right the first time. I highly recommend them and will continue use their services.

The tech (Mike) arrived on time and was extremely polite, professional and patient. He answered every question to my full satisfaction. He went over all issues found and work that was needed. The work was completed in a timely manner . Overall, quite pleased with Alexander Services and will be using them again for my future cooling and heating maintenance. Highly recommended.”
The guys were very professional and friendly. I was very worried about not having A/C because my elderly mother lives with me and I have 3 dogs. They guys came in and did the job quickly and the heat wasn't even a factor. I was very surprised how quickly and efficiently it was all taken care of.
I have been using Alexander Services for probably close to 10 years now! They have always been great, courteous,, prompt, efficient and friendly! They have always been quick to respond on service calls and about 3 years ago they replaced my whole unit inside and out at a great Price!! But I just had an issue where I was gone all day on Sunday and got home at about 6pm and it was 85 degrees in my house and the unit would not kick on. I called and the owner, Leo actually came out himself and fixed it in 20 minutes, and the only charge was a normal service call. He apologized to me that I had to deal with this Issue. The house cooled back down immediately and all was great!! Thank you Leo and Alexander Sevices!! .
Mr Kerr responded quickly and got my air conditioner working to keep me from sweating up a storm in August heat. His pricing for the replacement was excellent and fulfilled everything he represented. Very trustworthy!!

Great value and excellent service. It's all too common to have sales staff over-promise and under commit, but this company actually went the extra mile to make certain my family and home were their top priority. We appreciated their promptness and just wanted to say thanks for the new heating and air conditioning system, and also delivering it on budget.
Super professional demeanor with these guys. It was "yes ma'am" the entire time. Mike and Josh did a great job. They even got the parts in early. Other than being a little bit late, I'm happy. Also, I was given a direct number should we have any future issues and they were nice enough to take pictures of what was fixed for me and send them to me. It was a mess and they cleaned it up.
Can google add a zero star....1 star ⭐️ is to much of a good rating for this company...The absolute worst company I've ever dealt with....very very very unprofessional. No return calls left plenty of messages and they simply ignored my calls. They finally showed up, saw the AC panel removed so they simply denied to service our AC and left. So I called and called and just ignored all my calls. They couldn't even keep their 9-12 appointment. Showed up 2 hours late. Incompetent folks employed here. Where is the customer service? Return your calls. Don't bother with this company. I'd rather sit in 100 degree heat....wait, that's what we've been doing for 4 days because they failed Bigly.....but feels better than dealing with them. 5 calls to the technician - all ignored....3 more calls with messages to main office...ignored.
The MOST unprofessional staff ever!!! No wonder there were small court claims filed against them as well as numerous violations noted on this company. I could post an entire dossier on them, but don't think there's enough room, to prove their "bad business" habits. In my many years of property management, and real estate sales, here in Texas, I've never experienced such a disrespectful, derelict a/c maintenance staff. From the lack of responsiveness, to telephone calls and emails, to the uniformed customer service (gentleman who answers the phone), to being totally and completely disrespected, and hung up on. This crew needs to start over from the basics and learn to accommodate and respectfully speak to customers, with intelligence and clear language, and rethink what customer service really means to a business. Clear deception, recognized by both parties concerning this issue, is something that doesn't bode well for a business that is attempting to thrive and continue to be reputable."The proof is in the pudding", and truths are just a few clicks away. I do NOT recommend Alexander Services!
Our A/C contractor relay needed replacement. Once at our house the technician claimed he added ten pounds of freon and produced a bill for $1,004 for freon alone. On February 3, 2014 the Bexar County Small Claims Court awarded me a judgment of $1,127 plus court costs. More than three months later, Leo Kerr (owner) refuses to pay or even give a return phone call. Wish I would have seen the Google review below stating, “Alexander Services has had multiple violations with the City of San Antonio and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation … Go with a larger, reputable company.” (Reference: Bexar County Small Claims Court, Precinct No 2, Case Number 22S1300496)
Reading the other reviews about this unprofessional company is completely surreal. If you need anything other than the most simplest checkups , I would seriously consider looking elsewhere. However, if you like the techs doing poor installation work, looking confused and bewildered, calling their boss on the phone for 7 minutes, then they come back by pulling out a folder and trying to upsell you on their crappy service plan. Once you agree to the service plan, suddenly the tech sounds like he is doing you a favor. What a joke. Of course, they don't stand up for their work. I mean, even a few months ago they tried peddling an install of a system that was still using the old refrigerant (I declined).
Mike was an exceptional technician, very knowledgeable and courteous. I am a customer for life as long as Mike works for Alexander Services.
The first time we called Alexander Services our AC went out in 100 degree temperatures. They arrived within one hour and informed us of our options and repaired our AC the same day! Great Company.

Alexander Services came out to unclog my condensate line. They failed to correct the issue the first time, so they came back again a few days later. On both occasions, I explicitly stated that I wanted them to make sure the fittings were sealed properly. Weeks later, my ceiling starts leaking. My drywall in my bedroom and bathroom is soaked and damaged. I call a plumber to check it out. Apparently, the leak came from the condensate line-- it was not sealed properly. I call Alexander Services and tell them what happened. They tell me they'll have to check for themselves. Leo, the owner, comes out and basically says it's not their fault. The joint is leaking, the pipe was sealed with their tape and yet he claims they never touched it. Why tape the pipe up if you didn't touch it? In a nutshell, they are not standing by their work. They couldn't get it right the first time and it looks like they couldn't do it the second time either. I gave them the opportunity to make things right but I guess doing the right thing is not important to them. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all cost!
