I live out of state and own a house in Texas. My son lives there in the house. The heat stopped working on the coldest day of the winter this year. I called my realtor for a referral and she sent me Kaniela with Alena Affordable Air. He took my call and went out there late that evening after he had already had a busy day. Found the problem to be a bad breaker. Had one on his truck and repaired it immediately. I was blown away with the service they gave us. Also charged me a very reasonable price. I recommend Akens to anyone that needs a HVAC company. They treated me like family.

My A/C motor went out and I was unaware of the issue until about 5:30p.m one evening. I contacted several heating and cooling companies in the Killeen area that evening as it was at least 100+ degrees and an emergency and the only company I was able to get in contact with after hours was Aken’s Affordable Air. A technician was at my house within 20 minutes and had the motor fixed in a quality manner and for a fair price under an hour. I highly recommend this company.
Hardworking and dedicated to his customers. Have used his services for 10 years. Weekends, late nights or any time in need. Never lets you down. Very reasonably priced.
Bro my house was so hot I was sweating all day. THESE JOKERS DONT PLAY THEY WILL HAVE YOU IN ANTARCTICA IN LESS THAN 1 HOUR. I mean it was hot as satans balls and they got my 2 story house cold within the next 2 hours !!

Great service!!!!! Kaniela came out on a Sunday and went above and beyond. Saved us from 100* heat :) He took the time to check everything and finally got us back going with our AC on Father’s Day. Thank you so much!!!
Called them at 7pm he said it will take him 2 hours to come and see what the problem was with my ac, never heard from them again

Our air suddenly stopped blowing cold Saturday evening on the hottest day of the year (so far). He was the only person to answer his phone. He was at my house within an hour. He replaced the part that went out, explained everything, and was very kind. The price was reasonable for a weekend call. We will definitely continue to give them our business.

They are very professional! My siblings were so hot and they couldn’t handle the heat. I called them in the morning and he was right on time! And very professional he took his time and stayed late to make sure everything was okay with my AC unit. They also gave me great professional advice on how to maintain my AC. Since I am a college student they are very affordable when it comes to being on a budget! I am very happy with the product! If you need your unit fixed they are the right people to call! trust me on that!

Both Steven and Jason were amazing, and the company moved very quickly in getting the A/C replaced after coming to my home 2days after I was getting a new unit. They cleaned up after themselves and did not leave until everything was working i recommended this company to anyone
Called on a Monday. Said they would be out on Tuesday after 3. Called at 3:30 they informed me they were not going to make it. Told desk clerk this was wrong and I wanted a call from her boss. She said she couldn't call, only text. Seriously !!! Asked her to call me back. 30 minutes went by. Tried to call business no answer. They never called back. Waited a day and a half for this unprofessional business to do nothing. Turned out to be a blessing though, was referred to A.R.T. AC. Great work ethic. Called when on his way. Showed at time was given. Corrected problem in less than 30 minutes. Thanks for ignoring me....turned out better for me.
After several attempts to have our landlord fix our AC with no luck we called the amazing people at Aken's and Mr Bushman came out right away and got everything fixed. He is honest, quick, professional, and even walked my husband through making everything more energy efficient in spite of our dinosaur of a system. I highly recommend Akens and Mr Bushman for all of your AC needs

Kaniela qouted an affordable price and did an awesome job. He paid close attention to detail, taking extra steps to ensure the job was done above expectations. He listened to our concerns and explained our best options (which weren't the more expensive ones!). He was polite and the job was done right. Excellent service, very professional and very knowledgeable about the ac systems. I would recommend anyone to this company. My system was not working and they came the same day and repaired with very low cost.
He worked me in last minute, had problems getting parts but was out the next day and got it up and running. Wonderful customer service, great prices and quality work. He will be my service provider from now on. AND he followed up a week later to make sure everything was working correctly. Thanks much for getting us back up and running.
