Airtron's HVAC tech showed up on time and performed the AC service in a professional manner. He told us what he was going to do and how he was going to do the work. I looked at his work after he left and from what I could see he did an excellent job fixing the air leak issue we had. Would use Airtron again for HCAC service.

This is ridiculous. Made an appointment a week in advance and was told a tech would be out between 8 - 3pm. It’s now 4pm and still no tech. Save yourself the waste of time and go with a company that can be punctual. Some of us don’t have the free time to stay home and wait for a tech that may or may not come…do better Airtron.

Richard Javier the technician was excellent and personable. Unfortunately the system stopped working again for the third year in a row a week after my “tune up” as part of their monthly service plan. Multiple problems in first 18 months with installation. Then multiple issues afterwards. They said I got a lemon. They gave me a free maintenance plan for the trouble then I stayed with them since. However the last three years when they come out a problem always develops a week after they do their tune up. This time around they called me after I cleared my schedule and said they couldn’t make it out due to emergency calls, then my system breaks down a week later they say well we’ll put you down as an emergency but fastest we can get to you is next Wednesday and perhaps maybe we can get someone out to you tomorrow afternoon but we’re not sure. I got three kids 15,10,and 2 and a wife who works largely from home. I can’t wait any longer for them, even if I gotta come out of pocket for a repair. Airtron’s unit they installed has just had too many problems over the years for me for me to vouch for them It’s utterly ridiculous. I have to consider other HVAC companies at this point.

the two gentlemen that did our installation of 3 separate split units, Robert and Robert (Father/Son), did excellent work and were extremely professional while at our location. We enjoyed the experience with them and would request them for any further work needed. Five STARS for Robert and Robert. Our previous units had not been installed correctly which led to them needing to be replaced before they should have been. As it is with everything these days, these new units were MUCH MORE expensive (2.5 times) than the units we originally had so we are hoping they will last much longer because of the excellent installation work.

4 days without ac in the summer heat on a less than 1 year old house. Appointment was originally on Thursday, late Thursday told they wouldn't make it and would try Friday. Late Friday canceled and said Saturday from 7-7. At 9:30pm called to say not going to make it AGAIN. Finally came Sunday, put in a temporary fix, left without verifying it was cooling and 2 hours later system was not working. Call to have them come back and am told might be next day. Horrible customer service and after 1 year warranty period will NEVER use them again.

Our Technician (Sean Walsh) did an excellent job of addressing both our issue (main drain line plugged) as well as our concerns (learning how to maintain our system in the future). Answered all of our questions as well as giving us useful information on questions we didn't know to ask. Only complaint is on the length of time it took for Airtron to get to our "emergency" issue: called Wednesday night, scheduled for Thursday (delayed), Friday (delayed), then contradictory-communication (was emailed Friday that our appointment had been cancelled and we needed to call to re-schedule; wasted hours on hold when, in reality, our appointment had not been cancelled and was actually re-scheduled for Saturday). This is NOT the technician's fault and so I won't ding him for it. Don't know about other Technicians but Sean Walsh was quality.

During this sweltering heat wave we're going through, I have seen Blake Bass and his trainee, Jake, go above and beyond the call of duty to restore cool air to our home. Just to know they were not only working outside but also in the attic made me thankful for the type of hard, dedicated workers Airtron employs. Even got some extra help from Daniel today in putting the final touches on getting our unit back in good working order. Thanks, guys. Your efforts to satisfy your customers are greatly appreciated.

Our a/c just stopped working in the Texas heatwave. I called Airtron and they dispatched someone out for the next day. The technician who came out was Lenny. He was so professional, kind, and friendly. He explained what he was doing and what had happened. He was very thorough in his work. He fixed the problem and we had our a/c going in no time. There should be more Lenny’s in this world

Update: 6/29 5:13pm got a call saying that they can’t come out today and need to reschedule AGAIN!!! Update 6/29: they came back out and said the txv was missing/incorrect one installed. Was told they’d come out on 6/28 to install. They never showed and called 2 hours after scheduled time frame to say we need to call to reschedule. Edited to add: They never text to confirm even though I opted I. For it. If you miss the call you have to sit on hold forever so so they’ll actually send a tech out even though you already have an appointment. Bought a brand new house with hvac from AirTron. It stopping cooling over a week ago. I called them Sunday and was told they’d be out Monday evening. No one showed or called. I was told someone called at midnight which I have no records of receiving a call at midnight. Tuesday they showed up way before I was told they’d show up. I specifically told them I work and wouldn’t be home till 5. The tech showed up at 340. Wednesday, 6/21 a tech finally shows up after 5 and apparently we didn’t have enough charge. It was charged and worked until today 6/24 I should not be having issues with a brand new system.

Everyone I spoke with was very professional. Unfortunately, timeliness and responsiveness to customer needs wasn't honored. I waited multiple times for a technician that was scheduled in a window and they didn't show. A CSR called our home after 9pm to say tech wasn't coming. First, it was too late to call a customers home, and it was obvious the appointment window wasn't going to be honored. Then, I was told a technician would arrive the next morning. Again, the technician didn't come in the morning. I waited home from work all day until dinner. When on our way out to dinner, we received a call close to 6pm that a technician could still come, but it would be another 40 minute wait. We decided to cancel dinner reservations and wait, expecting our cooling issue to be fixed. The technician arrived, noted the cooling issues, checked everything and said we needed to call again to schedule an additional service he couldn't provide, though we mentioned it initially when we called. He said that wasn't captured on the ticket so he didn't know that was needed. I called again to schedule and was given an appointment a week away. I was also told no manager was available to talk to and I could give feedback on the website. There is no feedback/customer complaint form on the website. Unless I just couldn't find it. In the end, nice folks - from the CSR to technician - but timeliness, quality of service, responsiveness to customer needs, and communication is severely lacking. Worst experience with an HVAC provider here in San Antonio.

Don't enter into the yearly service contract. Paying a monthly fee, the techs are to come out twice a yr for routine maintenance and then when things go wrong, it's covered (certain things). Fine, sounds great. Until... they call the morning of your appt, after you've taken off work to be there, needing to reschedule. A month later you get an appt. Then that day, they do it again! In 6 months, same thing happens. Now your twice a yr has only been once. Can't cancel, huge fee. They beg forgiveness, say it won't happen next time and it does. Finally, with reluctance, someone told me my contract date. I was able to get out. Sadly, the removal email says, "your cancelation request is subject to $150 termination fee". Ugh! Save yourself the trouble. Oh, and they say no refunds.

Pretty poor experience for us. We were told they'd be at our house and given an 8 hour window. Took off work to be available. At the end of the window we called to ask if they were still coming and they then told us: 1. They wouldn't make it out that night 2. We had to pay the service fee up front for the reschedule they missed the original time for. Lost 8 hours of work due to this company's poor communication and my house is still hot. Should have notified us they wouldn't make it and then demanding to be pre paid after missing and appointment unreal Call someone else.
