I'd highly recommend Airtight for any HVAC needs. They replaced my heat pump this past Spring, and the entire process was excellent. Brian was a pleasure to work with, he was very honest about what he thought I needed and was timely with communication. During installation, Brian and his crew were courteous and thorough. It's been several month since my installation and I'm very happy with my new system.
Honest and reliable. Another company quoted me $5,000 more for the same exact work and same HVAC replacement. Brian came out here gave me a quote before knowing what the other outfit was going to charge me. For the exact same unit and brand $5,000 less. Brian and his team took great care in replacing the units and protected my floors and cleaned up after themselves. They have a new customer for life.
The staff was so kind. I was even loaned a window unit while waiting for parts to come in. I would recomrned this company to any of my friends.

Brian and his crew, Jamie and Marcus, arrived at the break of dawn on a seriously rainy, miserable Friday morning to install my new Trane HVAC system. They worked tirelessly and efficiently but it took most of the day to remove the old system and install the new. They were hard workers, polite, very knowledgable and easy to work with. They were very conscientious about tracking mud into the house but never let the weather interfere with their work. Think about crawling around in a crawl space on a day like this! YUK! I am pleased that they asked me to host one of their yard signs so that my neighbors can consider them when it becomes their turn! Thank you Brian, Jamie and Marcus ... you guys are great!

Great service
Very friendly and professional service. I replaced my 15 year old upstairs heating/AC unit after it finally failed . They discussed my options and provided written quotes. Following the installation the city inspector told me that whoever installed the unit did an excellent job and that I could feel good about the work that was done. Super impressed with Brian-Owner. He took his time on a cold/wet afternoon and found my heating issue. Auxiliary heat was not wired correctly from previous heating company. Within minutes I had heat, not just cold air. Brian will be my tech going forward. I will refer Airtight Heating & AC Inc every chance I get.
We decided to convert our garage to a multi-purpose room (garage and room to entertain at gatherings). We turned to Airtight Heating and Air Conditioning for the HVAC. Brian (owner) assessed our needs, performed cooling/heat load calculations and presented a proposal which included a high efficiency (Seer 22) Mitsubishi split system. Brian obtained the required permit(s). The installation went off without a hitch. I added some insulation during the process. All was ready for a surprise Birthday party. And on the invite list of course were Brian and Pat. The HVAC kept up with 90+ degrees outside and about 40 people in the garage/multi-purpose room. I am very pleased with the job and results and highly recommend Airtight Heating & Air Conditioning.
On a recent Sunday evening, my son's upstairs air conditioning quit. I called Airtight because I have been dealing with Brian and his wife, Pat, since moving to Cary in 2015 for servicing both my upstairs and downstairs systems and replacing the upstairs unit in 2016. Pat called me back within minutes and had Jamie and Jacob out first thing Monday morning. Within 15 minutes Jamie concluded the 30-year old compressor had finally given out. It had tripped the outside breaker, burnt a wire and was smoking. Brian came over and discussed configuration options, gave us a quote and had himself, Jamie, Jacob and Hayes out to disassemble the old system and begin replacement. They worked all day in attic temps exceeding 120 degrees and had the air conditioning up and running that evening. (We had requested a total reconfiguration, replacing a long unit with ducts covering the attic floor with a high efficiency upright unit to make more usable floor space). The next day they completed the installation of the new gas furnace. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of Brian, his wife and his team. His word is his bond and he delivers on his promises with no surprises. If you are looking for a company that thrives on customer satisfaction and offers fair and competitive prices, then look no further than Airtight. They deserve all the five-star ratings others have posted. They really know their business and provide systems and maintenance/repair of the highest quality!
i got my AC/HVAC replaced to new TRANE units three weeks ago with Airtight. I am impress with honesty and job he did with the replacement. He explained the configurations he selected for me and reason for what is best for my area of coverage. He expedited the job and ensured that we were happy with the outcome. Will go with him again when my second unit is ready for replacement.
I cannot say enough about my experience with Airtight Heating & Air Conditioning. The owners were super friendly and easy to work with over the phone. They sent techs who were professional and timely. I literally had my A/C back on within hours of my call!!! I will definitely be doing business with them again.
