Called these guys for a second opinion after another company said I needed a board and motor, then tried to convince me that due to the age of the unit, I should just replace the unit at an extremely over-inflated price. See my other reviews for details on that. I left a message and Ray called me back within 5 minutes and scheduled Chuck to come the next morning. Chuck quickly diagnosed the issue, which was only the motor. I asked whether he thought the unit needed to be replaced due to it's age and he said no, that the unit was in good shape. Quote was significantly cheaper than the other companies price for the motor. Chuck was back the next morning and 30 minutes later, I had AC. Needless to say, AirNow is now my heating and AC company.
Ray and Chuck were very quick to respond and very efficient with the repair. Very happy with them and will definitely use them again if I have any future problems.
5 years and two houses ago, I called Air Now out of desperation after I spotted their number at a red light. I had been through 3 other HVAC groups in 18 months, pouring money into a chronic upstairs unit that still didn't work when I finally gave them a call. Amazingly, the repair worked and the cost was 1/3rd the cost of the guy who had visited 3 weeks before. Since that visit, I have probably had them out for 10 different service calls ranging from new units to chasing down phantom noises and they are always as good as it gets. If you need HVAC help in the Denton/Corinth/Lake Cities/Argyle area, call AirNow. There may be others as good as Ray and Chuck in our area, but I don't like the odds!

AC went out whe I was out of town. Got a couple of quotes and Ray was the best. Guys who came out were in and out, system is working great.
AirNow has serviced our heating and air conditioning for 8 years and have always been prompt, done good work and charged what I thought was a fair price. Two years ago Chuck recommended replacing the units to avoid repeated costly repairs and to upgrade to more efficient systems. The cost at the time was high and I opted to hold out. This year I decided to "bite the bullet" and replace everything. To my surprise, the cost had come down and they had everything in stock. Chuck encouraged me to shop the price and gave me a 7 day price guarantee. While another offered a "free" Nest thermostat, they didn't match the price and couldn't do the work as fast. I highly recommend Ray and his team.
Outstanding - I had no heat. They came out...and fixed it....even though they could have told me the roofer needed to come put the cap on right! The owner told me to have a Blessed Thanksgiving. Thank YOU
I used this company to replace my AC unit last August and for the most part, was pleased. When my furnace was having an issue turning on in January, I called them and sent someone out that afternoon. Without asking my wife or calling me to get any info, the tech performed some checks on the unit and concluded that the CO level was dangerous and handed my wife a $2700.00 estimate to replace it. He also informed her it would be against the law to turn the unit back on. Obviously, she was stunned and upset. I contacted another company and their tech was on-site in a couple hours, found no dangerous CO levels, gave the unit the once-over, cleaned it, tested it for several minutes, tightened the loose panels and also informed me it had @ 4 more years of warranty. 2 months later, it has no issues and runs great. I'm glad I called another company.
Called AirNow on a Sunday due to my furnace not igniting. I will say they did provide prompt service for a Sunday. A technician arrived in a few hours. It all went downhill from there. Was charged $118 for service call and unit was not repaired. I was told it was a control board. The tech said he would check on part availability and call me the following morning. He did as promised and called early Monday morning and quoted me $675 to repair. I declined the repair. Called another company for a second opinion. I was told it was the spark plug. The technician had the part in his van. I was charged $135 including the part and labor. My furnace is now working like new. Do your homework and avoid being ripped off. I have contacted AirNow and asked for a refund of my $118. I will post my results.
These guys have always taken great care of us, at our business and home. Ray has always been honest with me and given us great service. I like Air Now because they're one of the honest ones. Ray always does what he says he'll do, nothing more, and he's always there when he tell me he will be. I can't recommend these people enough. Thanks for the great service!!
