Jeff is one of the best AC guys in the area. I was impressed with how fast and accurate he was able to Diagnose my AC problem and was fixed in less than an hour! Highly recommend
This was the most honest, professional, affordable, and timely home service call I have ever had fulfilled. Jeff showed up exactly when he said he would. He listened while I explained everything I had already tried, then went to work. He found installation errors present with our air conditioning system, ensured after correcting the errors he did a full temperature check of the functioning system, and didn't try to upsell me on anything. The price was also extremely reasonable, and included a military discount, which I never expect, but always appreciate. I didn't even have to ask, he offered it up when he saw some of my military paraphernalia laying around the house. The entire experience was outstanding, and I will be using AirGuard Mechanical in the future!
AirGuard has done a little bit of everything for me. From rerouting a return line, new hvac and vents for the 2nd story, and maintenance on my old unit. Very professional, courteous, and detailed. They will be my go to hvac for as long as I am in the area.
Jeff went above and beyond in every aspect while fixing our HVAC unit. He thoroughly examined the indoor and outdoor units, checking for leaks, drainage issues, electrical problems, etc. During his inspection he noted that our return duct did not meet the minimum requirements needed for our 3.5 ton unit. He recommended either increasing our return in size from 14" to 18", or putting in a secondary 12" return in the back half of our home. Additionally, he noticed a leak from a joint connecting to the outside unit. He was thorough and detailed when explaining the process of a normal operating unit, versus how our unit was operating. After agreeing upon an 18" single return, Jeff took the time to make sure it was feasible by measuring out the new size needed, both from below and above the ceiling. Where other companies would have topped off the refrigerant and called it a day; Jeff made sure to legitimately fix the issues we had with our unit. He soldered the cracked joint, replaced the return box and duct, installed a new grate, filter, and inlet to properly fit the 18" return. He then serviced our unit, making sure everything was operating correctly. He topped off the refrigerant, cleaned the pvc drain to ensure it would not clog in the future, and vacuumed our carperts after the job was complete. I absolutely recommend Jeff and AirGuard Mechanical to anyone who needs work. Whether it's repair, servicing, or routine maintenence, Jeff is the subject matter expert of HVAC. My wife and I thank you again for all of your help, and shared knowledge along the way. Our AC is truly the best it has ever been!

Always a great experience with the AirGuard team! They're super responsive, and walked us through our ducting and damper system to show us how to adjust air flow through out the house. We're always going to use them for A/C / heating / HVAC repairs!
