If I could give zero I would. We had a home warranty, and the company we had chose to use them. They came out to replace our whole unit 2 months ago in the attic. Not only did they install a beat up coil, they have lied numerous times to our home warranty about what was done and not done. 2 months later after having this system installed it quit working. We get someone to come out and they determine it has a leak at the coil, that's when it had some freon left it in. We then tell our home warranty that air serv installed this beat up equipment and that's why it's leaking. We have pictures and everything. The tech comes out, lies and says he can not do a leak test, and he will charge us $2000k to swap out the part since it's under warranty. HMMMM EXCUSE ME, WHY WOULD WE PAY 2000K on equipment you knew was damaged. Why can you not honor your work and it be right? Why should we pay anything? Then you tell our home warranty that it does not have a leak, that you performed a leak test and blah blah. THAT WAS A LIE. You weren't even able to because the freon was so low. Get your story right, honor your work make it right. It doesnt matter they are Never wrong. He will argue with a brick wall. Hes going to blame it on my home warranty company. He told me i shouldnt have went the cheap route and hired them directly. If you read every bad review this owner never takes fault. Or the customer is never right. It does not matter. You installed faulty equipment and you should honor that and fix it. PERIOD. DO NOT USE THEM. CROOKS.

We had a great experience with this company for about 5 years. But as with everything in life, you don't really learn about who you are dealing with until something goes wrong. We noticed one of our units (installed a year ago by Aire Serv) not cooling its area of the house. Aire Serv came out to look at it the next day and said we had a rare issue of a bad wire from the thermostat to the compressor. This could be a major ordeal as the wire transverses multiple stories of our home. Something didn't sit right with me, so I called another company (Thermal Solutions in Gonzales) to get a 2nd opinion. The technician for Thermal Solutions diagnosed the main issue before he was 5 feet away from the compressor. It was simply out of refrigerant secondary to a bad weld when Aire Serv installed the compressor a year ago. I lost trust in Aire Serv at this point and allowed Thermal Solutions to fix the problem. I was hoping Aire Serv would stand behind their work, acknowledge the bad weld is no one's fault except their own, and reimburse me for the fix. They refuse. They'll reply to this review with excuse after excuse (as they have with the other unfavorable reviews), never fully take responsibility for missing the problem, and state that I didn't give them a chance to fix it. They claim they were here 6 hours diagnosing the problem, so I think I gave them a good 6 hours to fix it. They failed to do so. My wife was here that day and can confirm they were not here anywhere close to 6 hours. So they also appear to stretch the truth. I understand human error and I can accept mistakes, as long as the mistake is owned and proper measures are taken to make it right. And I would have given them a 5 star review for taking ownership of the mistake, even after the missed diagnosis. It's easy to get a good review when things go well. But pay attention to the bad ones to see the true character.

I called their business on a Saturday afternoon when many other businesses were closed. I was just looking to see if I could get a couple of items I thought I needed to make an ac repair myself. While they did not have the items I needed, I was given sooo much more: knowledge that helped me make the repair and the confidence that I could do it. Daniel was absolutely, hands down, one of the most helpful, knowledgeable, and caring HVAC techs I have ever spoken with. He really was concerned that my repair was done correctly, whoever was doing it. He even asked me to let him know how it went. Who does that?! I'm telling you, if you are looking for a knowledgeable, competent, caring bunch of techs, this is your go to place for all things HVAC related. I will definitely be looking to Aireserve and referring others to them in the future. Yes, HVAC work is not cheap no matter who you hire. But, if you want things done right, this is your place.
