Very rude old man, refused work on our water heater in our basement because of a couple of cob webs and walked out. It's a 1/2 finished BASEMENT meaning no drop ceiling, so yes a few webs at the top of ceiling. He was rude, belligerent and unprofessional. Poor baby afraid of a couple of webs in ceiling..🤣🤣🙄🙄
I have been doing business with Airco-Witz since 2003. Al has been in the business since 1963 and is the most knowledgeable professional in Syracuse and surrounding areas. He is very thorough; his attention to detail is unlike any I've seen. He has the tools to fix anything with over 55 years in the business! How many people in their 80's can you name that can lie down on the ground and drill a new hole for your pilot light. Let alone be familiar with brand new heating systems and boilers from over a half a century ago! No job is too big or small for him. He does what's right for the customer and won't rip you off. He has an extreme attention to detail. It's very reassuring to do business with someone who is familiar with your heating and AC system. I highly recommend Airco-Witz Heating & Air Conditioning. Horrible. He walked in my home verbalizing negative comments regarding my home. Lack of knowledge with the hot water tank. I feel i was judge because of my age and race. He began yelling and called me out my name when i asked bout pricing. I would not recommend him even if he was free!! Worst experience ever!!
I received a call through home advisor from this company.. The guy was relentless called my phone repetitively hit redial then when I was able to answer he was vulgar and yelling at me asking why aren't you answering the phone?? And complaining and blaming people like me that Home Advisor charges him money when I told him I didn't need his services he then got even more angry and told me to shove it up my A$$.. if you want to do business with a company like this. It's your choice .but this guy NEEDS ANGER MANAGEMENT and needs to learn how NOT to belittle people!!! I would NEVER NEVER recommend this company to anyone and I also filed a complaint with Home Advisor so BEWARE!
I called this guy and he came over. Said he would email me estimate. A week went by and nothing. Called him again and he really didn't remember me. After explaining again he said he was busy but would get it to me. Another 4 days went by and nothing. So I found someone else and called him back and canceled. Didn't seem to me that he really wanted the job. Wasted my time.
It was a pleasure to have Airco-Witz come to my house and repair my furnace. I called the company after a friend referred them to me. He was very professional and answered all my questions. I had a furnace that wouldn't start. He checked it out and told me that it was routine maintenance that was needed. He took his time to show me what was needed. He was genuinely concerned about my issues and addressed each one as they were uncovered. After some time, it was evident that some new wiring had to be done. It was completed with a masters touch. I was very impressed. He went the extra mile too. After he fixed all of my heating concerns-my bill was very reasonable as well. I would recommend him to anyone. In this day and age of big corporations out to make as much money as they can: it was refreshing to know that this company has real concern for customers. I never felt he was out to "get" me. This is a great company to do business with. We have used Airco-Witz HVAC for several years, initially for servicing existing equipment and later for the supply and installation of new equipment. This has included a Water Heaters, a Furnace, and recently a high efficiency Air Conditioning System. Prices are very reasonable. We first used Airco-Witz when our heating system failed. This occurred on a Sunday in mid-winter. After searching the Yellow Pages and trying to get someone to respond, Airco-Witz answered the phone and came out that same evening. Since then we have not used any other company. Why would we?? We constantly recommend the company to others.
This company consists of one person who is very unprofessional, rude, and obnoxious. The first thing he demands is payment even before starting the work. He quotes a price and then at the end of the job he complains about the trouble he went through to get the A/C fixed and demands more money. He is very unpleasant to work with. I would never hire him again or recommend him to anyone. Loses his temper real fast and very often when you ask him questions.
Airco Witz HVAC Inc, i was seeking a second opinion and am glad I wound up with Airco Witz, otherwise I would have thrown money down the drain. My technician was was very personable and was able to save me money based on the services that I needed. Would highly recommend Airco Witz HVAC Inc to everyone one i know!
