Great communication, great service and delivers exactly what they promise - all at a competitive price. Have had them do work at my house twice and recommended them more times than that.
In a straight forward manner, Dan gave us pricing for the furnace replacement that included his specific itemization of about one dozen specific components related to the proposed installation. Other estimates we received simply stated the brand and model of the furnace and the price for replacement. Dan's proposal provided us with all new components, unlike the other estimates. With regard to duct-work, Dan explained that air-flow and air quality would be significantly improved with replacement, but existing duct-work was still functional. He left the decision up to us. Roy, assisted by Mike & Xris did an outstanding job of replacing both the furnace and duct-work. Roy is a seasoned professional whose thorough HVAC knowledge and experience was clearly evident. He was a pleasure to work with. Our new duct-work rated R-8 clearly has improved air flow throughout the house. The overall system is working great and work was accomplished with no hassle and much courtesy. Description of work: Dan Gillis, owner of Air Stat, came to our home to provide a free estimate for replacement of a 20-year old, 4-ton furnace and possible replacement of our sagging ductwork located in the attic of our Montrose bungalow. He arrived on time and went directly into to the attic to inspect the furnace and duct-work.

We have used Dan and his team for several years. They kept our old units running long after other a/c companies couldn't. Several times we were thinking our old units were dead and couldn't be fixed, but he always got them running again for us. No pressure to make the big purchase or upselling. When we did eventually replace our units, Dan's honesty and reliability were once again confirmed. If you want an honest, responsive and knowledgeable a/c and heating company, Air Stat is it. We can't say enough about their quality of work and fair pricing. Super company!

My old A/C unit had reached a point where it was no longer cooling my house and was running 18-20 hours a day to even keep the temperature within 10 degrees of where the thermostat was set. I had 4 bids to replace my unit and Dan's was not only very competitive, he also was installing a much better unit than was his competition. After looking into what Consumer Reports said about American Standard (it was the best rated of all the units reported on CR),and looking at the price quoted to me by Dan at Air Stat, it was an easy decision to make.The crew was on time, very courteous, had my unit installed within a few hours (5-6), including a lunch break, and left the work site clean and neat. We couldn't be happier with the work done for us by Air Stat and highly recommend them to anyone needing quality work done at a fair and reasonable price. Dan put in a 15 seer unit, where we had a 12 seer before. He said that a 13 seer was the least I could purchase and meet requirements, but the 15 seer would be more energy efficient, do a better job of cooling the house than my old unit and that I should see an immediate difference in my electric bill. Everything he told us has been true and not only does our A?C run a fraction of the time and our utility bill has halved. The price I paid for the 15 SEER unit was only a little more than other installers had quoted us for a 13 SEER unit. I couldn't be happier.
