Within hours of calling Air Specialists we have working AC again. Sam came out and professionally diagnosed our unit’s issues and gave us fair options without pressuring us to spend more money. We will be calling them again next time we have any problems!
Sam was very professional and a pleasure to work with. He explained what he was doing so I could look out for potential issues in the future. Throughout his visit he answered my questions. In the end the cause of the issue was outside of the HVAC system. He politely referred me to resources I should follow up with for further investigation. Will use Sam again for any future heating and cooling needs.
Heating system had a small short that was diagnosed and fixed promptly. Sam can be trusted to see it through. Tim H.
I rarely write reviews and I'm kicking myself for not writing one sooner. We moved into a house with two older A/C units. The inspector didn't catch that both were leaking (inspection in early Spring) and when the summer heat hit us, I called Sam to figure out what was going on. He showed up at 11p to add refrigerant and advised us that we likely had one more year before it would be prohibitive to continue refilling and that a replacement would be likely. We got two years from one unit, three from the other and had Sam replace both at a very fair price. I've referred him to everyone I encounter asking about A/C specialists and every single referral has said the same thing: Sam is the best, most honest and knowledgeable guy in the business. Tonight I had to call Sam again as one of our units was not turning on. Showed up within 90 minutes (9:30pm) and got us up and running shortly thereafter. Low on refrigerant and a leak in the coil he addressed. The absolute best. If I could give him 10 stars I would.
I have used several HVAC companies in the area and will no longer use anyone but Air Specialists. Sam is a true professional and is very knowledgeable. His level of communication throughout the repair process is the best of any business that I can think of......period. He also offers his honest opinion when making tough decisions on repairs. Top notch company, top notch staff. Don't look any further.
What a great service company. Answered my call for a non emergency service repair at 11pm and was at my house first stop. Thankfully it was a 10 minute repair to get my AC back up and running. Great company to work with. Hope I never have to call them again, but will gladly call them if I need HVAC service repair again..
I came home from a week vacation and my AC was not working. Sam came out at 11 pm on a Sunday night and was very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this company!!
Such a pleasant and capable man - had the parts and the knowledge to sort out our problem when our upstairs ac would not cool. Came out at 10.30 pm - would highly recommend
Incredibly professional, knowledgeable and HONEST man. I had an issue with one my home AC unit not working, another company had come and changed capacitor but also told me I needed new AC coil that was gonna run several thousand dollars since it had a leak. I was recommended by a friend to call Air Specialist and I called Sam and he drove over and our out of his way to check my ac unit. After walking me thru what he was doing and showing me that I DID NOT in fact have a leak , pressure tested lines and started my AC right up. He checked the air temperature and all is working fine. He told me there is absolutely nothing wrong with my ac unit. I would never go anywhere else for my services but to Air Specialist! Thank you Sam for your honesty and hard work! 🙏

We absolutely love Sam! We have used Air Specialists Heating and Cooling for four years and have found that Sam is quick to respond to e-mails and phone calls. He has been able to provide emergency services (when we were without heat or A/C) in less than 24 hours, and usually same-day. He is professional and friendly and honest. Sam has, on more than one occasion, recommended and attempted less expensive repairs before resorting to replacement, which in one instance, allowed us to defer a repair for a couple of years, giving us plenty of time to prepare for the expense. And somehow, every time we reach out, he remembers us. (We may have our crazy dog to thank for that, but something tells me we aren't the only clients who benefit from this personal touch.)
My first service call with Sam was this summer. Our Ac stopped regulating temperatures. He committed to the job and scheduled us the same day. Sam is punctual, kind and efficient. He went above and beyond by showing us how simple the fix was. He empowered us to help ourselves involving the simple things. Fast forward to TODAY 1/27/2022! Our heat temp was not able to maintain a temp above 70. I called Sam and explained the situation. This is what happened: Sam: I can schedule you in. I don’t want your family to be cold; but check all of your filters to see if you missed one. Me: I called back 2hrs later to thank him for being kind enough to make a suggestion that saved me an unnecessary service fee. This is funny and embarrassing for me to share because…It was the darn filter! 😂 But beyond that; I hope you see Sam’s character as a person and business owner shine through. My husband has challenged me to write my kudos for people and businesses that go above and beyond. I hope telling this story elevate’s Air Specialists Heating and Cooling. It matters whom enters your home. This small gesture is why I will call Sam in the future for my families heating and cooling needs.
We would not hesitate to recommend Sam to anyone. He is an expert in what he does and also extremely responsive, helpful, and kind. We cannot recommend his business enough!
I have used Sam three times now and every time I have been very pleased with his work. He is very fair with pricing and always comes out when I need him too. I would recommend him for anyone.

I called and they were able to help me the same day. They were professional and able to diagnose the problem quickly and had the parts and tools on hand for an easy fix. Experience was wonderful!
Sam was fantastic! He responded quickly on a Saturday with follow up phone calls until 9:00 PM! With needed parts on indefinite back order, he quickly provided an alternative solution and found available parts on Sunday. He promised to call on Monday to confirm installation timing and he followed up promptly. On site, everyone was polite and cleaned up immaculately. Most importantly, his solution fixed the problem!
Sam has been our go-to-guy for all things HVAC related! He has always been extremely accommodative with my busy schedule, and always provides high quality work for very reasonable prices. Today, he came out to look at my upstairs AC unit, which had seemed to stop running cold yesterday. When Sam came out to take a look, he didn't find anything wrong and I guess the unit started running again overnight. Instead of charging me for the visit, Sam refused to let me pay! This type of quality service is hard to come by, so I hope you choose Air Specialists for all your HVAC needs!
