I'm embarrassed. Just realized I forgot to review Air Perfection's "PERFECT" work last year. I'm a tough customer, who used to deal with contractors for a living in my career. I'm in my 70s and not poor, so I've used home contractors often. I researched, chose 4 contractors for bids. Air Perfection gave us a good bid, but more important was the vibe I got from the owner, and that feeling was proven very true. His crew was completely professional and efficient. Nearly a year later and everything (sorry) PERFECT.

I enthusiastically recommend Air Perfection. They installed a new Rheem air conditioner unit, air handler, and smart thermostat for our central air conditioning system. Our old Rheem equipment stopped working after 18 years, just as summer had begun and Hawaii had a record-breaking heat wave in June. Thankfully, the team at Air Perfection was extremely helpful, and we had a new system installed on July 3 just in time for the holiday. Every person we interacted with was friendly, professional, and clearly cared about making customers happy. Tina provided quotes and information that we needed to decide what unit was best for our needs and budget. She also filed the paperwork and worked with Hawaii Energy so that we got a $1000 rebate for installing an HVAC system that is more energy efficient. The installation was not an easy one. The entry to our attic is small, so they not only had to take apart the old air handler to get it out but also had to take apart and then put back together the new air handler. Despite having to spend several hours in a cramped attic on a day of near-record heat, the installation crew--Scott, Crys, Joe, and Rostin--remained cheerful with us and with each other. It was obvious that they enjoy working together. It has been nearly 2 months, and the air conditioning system has been working like a dream. Do your due diligence, but know that you can't go wrong with Air Perfection
Definitely call Air Perfection. They put in a split AC at my office, than at my home. They used drop cloths and did the install as if it was their own home, making all the little things awesome! Thank you again Rostin and crew. If you check Yelp, you will see they have alot of raving past customers.
They did one install for me that works well and I am happy with it. Called for replacement of a noisy but working existing unit and got four estimates for same job from 3300 to 4800. Based on the lowest estimate received over the phone because they had problems over a few days with their computers and email, they came out and took old unit apart. When an estimate arrived over two hours after they started work it said electrical conversion needed. They stopped and put the noisy but working unit back together and left. They said it should work but it didn’t. They said they’d get me on electricians schedule ASAP but it’s been a few days now. It’s busy so I’m going to update if this gets resolved satisfactorily. But I’m feeling like they have me at a disadvantage they caused.
