I’m with the other 1 star reviewers. Hits the issue right on the head.
They do not return calls. They only communicate via text and often do not respond there either. They have been to my home 4 times and said I needed a $1500 repair. I called another company who said their diagnosis was completely wrong and had my ac running in 15 min.
I was scheduled by my home Warranty and I was not contacted by this contractor. Come to find out that this contractor is not accepting calls from my home Warranty and they didn't even have the professionalism to call me and let me know.
awful. waited all day and still didn’t get helped. didn’t even call when they were on the way just left a note at the door and now they don’t even pick up the phone. just terrible service!
I have used them multiple times. They have some good techs like John and Shai whose fast professional work is always appreciated. Why not 5 stars? Well, it can take a while to reach them, for example 2 days of calling with no luck then waited until Monday PM cause messages can pile up on the weekend and yet, I keep getting only "mailbox is full"
Very professional and reasonable.
Same as the other reviews. We were assigned them through our home warranty. Paid the 100 dollar service call fee. They said we needed a new part and a month later never called and will not return our call.
Horrible experience with this company. They were assigned to me by my home warranty company on July 7th. After several calls, they finally gave me an appointment on July 17th. Technician diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes and they were given the parts approval on July 22 to go ahead and fix. It has been three weeks, seven calls and silence from them. All I want is an update of when they think it will be fixed. It’s been over five weeks since this started!!!!
They don't communicate. They never answer the phone nor return calls. We used our home warranty and they gave us this company. We left several messages on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. They just showed up to the rental Wednesday then left stating the roof access was locked. It is locked they simply need to go to the front office and ask they will immediately open it. We left 4 messages, texts and emails since Wednesday with the technician explaining this. Again 0 response so this AC company has left my renter for 4 days without AC and not even attempted to contact us properly. We are requesting the Warranty company drop them all together and going to file a complaint with the BBB they definitely should not be in business.

This company is a fraud and should be ashamed of how they do business. I was assigned to them by my insurance company AHS with John coming out June 29th and was supposed to submit a diagnosis to my insurance company for repair, here it is now July 11 with it being over 90 degrees in my home and still no response. I call and leave voicemails and even the insurance company calls as well as email with no response. This has been miserable as they still have not responded and now I have to wait to get assigned to another contractor. Just despicable, I would not refer this company to my worst enemy!
Company does not answer phone calls nor return phone calls. I had no way to get in touch with someone at the company between their business hours 9-5. I was waiting for my hvac condenser fan motor to be replaced and it has been over a month and still no response from them and the part been came in from the supplier.They were contracted through my home warranty First American Home warranty.
Amending this review, as I finally got a hold of Renee in the scheduling office to get a technician out. It took over a week for them to return my call and my home warranty company to call them to get them to call me back. However, once the tech was here, he quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He also explained why the problem was causing the unit not to work and how to prevent future problems. I give the technician 5 starts, as he was knowledgeable and efficient. As for the time frame for making the original appointment, I give this company 1 star. It shouldn't matter how busy your business is, you should always return a customer call within 24 hours of initial contact. I waited over a week for a call back. This is simply unacceptable, and had it not been a call through my home warranty company, I would have sought another contractor to service my AC. I can't imagine how they are still in business with the lack of professionalism with appointment scheduling and contacting customers.
Guy was very nice when he came . But seem to like show no real care to it. Stated he he understood that the ac needed to be changed and it wasnt a replaceable part. Later told my insurance company that they needed to send someone else out to check it lol and this is after 3 days later we found this out from the insurance company. We also could not get any one on the phone or via text after countless text and calls.
Have been waiting since May 7 2022 for a return phone call on a part that was ordered for the AC and yes the house is hot. The company was contacted through American Home Shield which hasn't been much help either so I'm kinda over a barrel right now. Have left numerous messages but to no avail. Very unprofessional ! I wouldn't recommend calling them.
This company was assigned to us by American Home Shield. The first technician arrived promptly and "fixed" our leaky drain. In addition he checked the system. His work was so stellar that he ruined a fitting, causing all the freon to leak out of the system. We didn't notice until the evening and this caused a very hot, sleepless night. After calling this repair company several times, leaving messages, and calling American home shield, a second technician was finally dispatched. He quickly got our system cooling again however, within 24 hours the original problem of the leaky drain was again present! Once again, it took several attempts to finally reach someone at the repair company and they sent out, once again, the first technician! He looked at the system and said that a pump needed to be installed and the drain needed to be routed through the Attic and that a repair ticket would be generated and someone would be back in touch with us. Today, it has been over a week with a leaky drain and absolutely no word from Air "Experts" of North Florida. Fortunately, American home shield has assigned someone else. We can only hope they're better!
Awesome company to deal with. From the scheduling and communication with Renee to Dillon the technician. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and informative. He explained in detail what was wrong and what he was doing to fix it. I would absolutely recommend this company.
I called Air Experts after having another company, company 1, come in. Air Experts would have been my first choice had I known they installed the new system in a house I purchased July of 2020. Once I found that out I called them and am so happy I did. After replacing the filter the AC was not functioning properly. Company 1 came and told me I needed $1400 in new parts and over filled the coolant by 200psi. That "diagnosis" was made without checking to see if anything was dirty or clogged first. Air Express had installed the system just over a year ago, Shai came to check it out. This was on Friday afternoon after all his other work and having been called mid morning. Other companies would have put me off until the following week. After being told we needed $1400 in new parts and not having AC for over 24 hours in the blazing FL heat we were pretty anxious for the AC to function properly. Shai listened to what company 1 had said we needed and proceeded to check the system over. Because he is an excellent technician he discovered a dirty area that needed cleaning, No new $1400 parts required. He also had to fix company 1s overfill of coolant. Shai was quick and competent and accurately fixed what needed fixing and corrected the serious mistake made by company 1's "technician". I will recommend Shai and Air Express to anyone. To have a company I trust, and particularly Shai, to work on my HVAC is great peace of mind.
When my home warranty company assigned me Air Experts for my a/c repairs, I was tempted to decline and ask for another assignment because of several negative reviews. But I had nothing but a positive experience with them. They called promptly to schedule an appointment (the next day), worked with me to find a time to accommodate my schedule when that didn’t work for me, responded quickly by phone and text, and arrived and left within the 4 hour window they gave me. The tech was professional, polite, and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed and repaired my a/c and had me up and running within an hour—repairing my unit outside in the rain. He even took a minute to give me a professional opinion on a completely unrelated a/c issue with another unit. I would not hesitate to use them again.
This has got to be the worst company there is out there. They are never on time and they never answer any of their phone calls. The technicians are always 2-3 hours later than the scheduled time. When you ask then why they’re late because they were busy with other homes. I got in trouble at work because my tech was supposed to show up between 1-4 and didn’t show up until 9pm. Just don’t use this company at all. They do the bare minimum and do not care. They never call to update you.
