We had Air Design install a new furnace for us. Jordan was our technician and did a great job. He was very thorough and made sure everything was working. He was very patient and friendly to us and answered all of our questions. We now have a nice new furnace and it was installed for a great price. Would recommend Air Design and was very pleased with Jordan's service.
Air design did the original install for our furnace and ac systems. Haven't even used the ac unit for a year and it's already short cycling. Told we'd be charged $120 just to look at it, then labor costs on top of it. Maybe I'm crazy but, I don't think I should be charged to fix something that shouldn't be having problems this soon in the first place. Installing bad equipment just to charge you to come out and fix what shouldn't be fixed in the first place sounds like poor business practices to me. Consider another company if you don't want to have brand new equipment malfunction only to be charged to have it fixed, when it shouldn't be a problem in a year to begin with.
I cannot say enough good things about Air Design Heating & Cooling! As a homeowner it can be overwhelming to research and choose an HVAC company among the hundreds that exist in this city, and thankfully my project was not an emergency so I had some time to compare and come to a thoughtful decision. Air Design came recommended to me by a friend in the HVAC business and I’m very happy with my decision to work with them. Russ came out to give me a quote for replacing my furnace and a/c due to age. While not emergent, there was a bit of a time crunch due to expected price increases in January and the fact the furnace was no longer very safe and definitely not efficient. Russ was thorough, honest, professional and did a great job at explaining the options and the process. He was responsive to my emails back and forth to decide on the final quote and scheduling. He recommended that my air ducts get cleaned beforehand and recommended a company that gave me a discount for the recommendation. When I had to reschedule installation at the last minute (due to the air duct cleaning needing to be rescheduled), Russ was understanding and quick to reply with another date. When comparing quotes, Air Design had the best price for the best quality brand and model of furnace and AC that I chose. They also have a 10 year parts and labor warranty option and cash discount. I am glad I chose them to do the job not only due to my budget but due to their integrity and experience. Jordan and Brad from Air Design replaced my 22 year old furnace and AC today and I could not be more impressed. They were on-time, respectful and professional. Their level of experience, focus, and attention on their work was evident. Not only did they replace my units with a more efficient model, they even repaired a problem with the duct that I was not even aware of and added a vent and return in my basement where there were no vents before. When our furnace went out we had called another company (sorry to say) that came to our home and said our repair would be over $2400. When we contacted Lance at Air Design he said the job from start to finish would be $1000. The Sean and Sean duo showed up exactly as scheduled and had the furnace fixed and house warming in no time. Air Design will be our only call if service is ever needed in the future on our heat or A/C.
Jordan is amazing. Jordan came on a Sunday afternoon and went above and beyond to make sure that we had heat before he left. Thank you so much, he was a huge life saver.

Russ Anderson and his team are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, patient, fast and very responsive... We remodeled a house "to the studs" and Russ spent time explaining / teaching so we understand the needs of the project. Additionally, the price was very reasonable (5 bids). When the inspector came she had unsolicited positive comments regarding their work. These guys were excellent, but I'd say Russ went far above and beyond. Customer for life b/c of Russ.
This last week our temperatures hit 100° and, sure enough, the air-conditioning unit stopped working on Saturday. The house is only a month and a half old, but the air-conditioning had not been used more than a few times since we moved in. The phone number to Air Design Cooling and Heating was on the furnace, so I called and left a voicemail about our problem, fully expecting to now hear back until the following work week. First thing the next morning, Sunday morning, Sean called and asked if he could come by around noon. Quite frankly, I was flabbergasted. I have dealt with contractors for the last year and a half during the building of this home, and this was a breath of fresh air. He called early, he came when he said he would come, and he fixed the problem. I couldn’t be happier. Sean was awesome, and I can only assume that the company as a whole is just as awesome as their employees. Thank you. The house feels comfortable again!

I was beyond impressed with this company. They came in and ran a heat run for me and were very professional and kind. I would recommend using this company for all your HVAC needs. They are very accommodating and easy to work with. Air Design is a very trustworthy company and exceeded my expectations.
They do sloppy work, add S curves in duct work when not needed and their management supports poor workmanship stating, “well the system works.” They tore out support walls, which had to be reengineered to pass code, cut electrical wiring, as they were not paying attention during install, expanded HVAC soffit run, as they didn’t want to destroy nonstructural support, but we’re willing to destroy support structure needing to be reengineered to pass code. The plans also were set for a 4 foot soffit run and they expanded to 7-8 feet due to sure laziness, ruining a nine foot ceiling. We now have to pay to have fixed, as “it works” and they refuse to correct. They are not allowed in my home ever again.
They were the fastest available hvac company, but I suspect that's part of their approach to the work. Their quotes for a furnace swap were nearly 3-thousand more than the company we went with. They said repairing/replacing the broken part was impossible, which other techs told us was not true. It definitely seemed like their effort and energy is spent on the sales pitch for the biggest ticket items they've got on hand and then upselling you if possible on a 'service plan', rather than on identifying what would be the best option. Would not recommend to anyone, even someone I don't like very much.
We recently bought our house a year and a half ago and had an issue with our furnace. Air Design did the original install so we reached out to them to have them take a look. The furnace was not working and this all happened in the middle of February so heating was a must. We called on a Saturday and the technician came out quickly. The tech took a look for 10-15min and said the issue was a power connector, he bent the connector to hopefully get a better connection had us pay $150 bucks, $120 just for coming to look and $30 to bend the connector, and left. 5 min after he left the furnace stopped working again. We called back and the technician came back and this time said it was the circuit board and that they had to come back Monday. I asked the technician if that meant we would have to pay again for them to come service it. The tech replied that we wouldn’t and it was under warranty and the $150 would cover the install Monday. Monday came and new tech installed the circuit board and told us we owed another $158 bucks for the “install.” We explained we were told we wouldn’t be charged again but the tech stated we were told wrong and that we had to pay again. We asked for him to double check, so the tech went to his car and jumped on the phone. He came back and said that we needed to pay and that it is what it is. The tech then took my wife’s debit card and charged it the $158. I later looked at my bank account and noticed that the tech charged us twice, once on my debit card which we used for the first visit as well as my wife’s card and that he ran my card before he even asked for my wife’s card?!? Needless to say we paid $308, minus the double charge I’m waiting to see if it goes through, for the tech to replace a “warranty” item that took them no more than 30 min of total time between 3 visits. If you need an HVAC company I’d keep looking, between several miscommunications on their part, double charges and it being outrageously expensive, saying we were disappoi
We purchased a home from Fieldstone homes and this company did the install. Within the first year the vents were whistling and the AC stopped working. They came out to fix it but we discovered that the damper was burried in the utility room and they had to cut throught the drywall to get to it. The AC stopped working because there was construction debris clogging the system. This morning we woke up to a giant pool in our house because the drain was clogged. We have a second story system so it went through the drywall and flooded a finished area causing damage to drywall, casings, and base boards. It's no surprise a clog developed because three spots in the drain pipe had a negative grade and allowed everything to pool within the pipe. Sediments built up in one and finally totally blocked the drain. I'm now considering having a different company come and evaluate the system just to see what else they did that may cause future damage.
Lance took care of us when the A/C in our house just wasn't working. He followed-up to make sure everything was working right and makes sure the home is comfortable. The techs were always prompt, polite and got the job done.
My service tech Dan is great! Always on time, professional and personable. I appreciate that I get the same service tech every time. He even remembers my kids. Most importantly he has kept my old AC running much longer than I ever expected. Thanks Dan!
