Steve and his associate serviced a commercial A/C ceiling unit for us when others could not. They were there promptly, figured out the issue, and fixed the problem all within 2 hours. Didn’t try to upsell a whole new system.
Excellent knowledge of HVAC. Steve solved the issue where another company could not. The only negative is the high cost of his service.
They were fantastic and quick with coming out same day. They did not try to upsell on products and told me exactly what is wrong! I highly recommend them.
Very professional and honest
My system was running all the time and not keeping the house cool. I called in the morning and had a very professional experienced tech at my house in about an hour and a half. He diagnosed the problem and had the system cooling properly quickly. Now I am chilling like a Villain and highly recommending "AIR COOL A/C." 😎 👌

My air conditioner decided not to work on a 95 degree day. I called Steve and he was at my house in less than an hour and fixed the issue in 30 min. Quality service at a fair price. This is my new air conditioner company! Very highly recommend!
Our air stopped working and we called at about 5pm. Steve came within an hour to assist us. Even though he didn’t have the needed part with him he was back the following morning to get our system repaired and working. We know we will need a new system soon but he wasn’t high pressure and did the repair for us to keep us going a bit longer before we have to replace the unit. Thank you Steve. We appreciate you.
Working with them was super quick and easy! I had called on Saturday night after 7pm and they were by first thing in the morning on Sunday to repair my AC unit. They are very professional and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs work done on their AC.

Steve was great! He came out late in the evening and quickly diagnosed and repaired the condenser. I will definitely refer friends and family and will use again! Update - After learning we were charged a 1,845% markup for the part that was replaced, I’ve decided to change my ratings. We were charged a higher than normal labor fee that should have compensated for the late night service call. A 50% markup is acceptable. Hell, a 100% markup would be acceptable for offering services after hours and a justifiable amount for a convenience fee to have the part on hand. What we were charged for the part is criminal and I can’t help but think that it was altered based on profiling. You know, the nicer the house, the more expensive the part becomes. I run a handyman company and I wouldn’t be able to sleep with myself knowing that’s how I ran my business. I reached out to Steve for an explanation and he simply said it’s the cost of business and even mentioned that Google charges him $65 alone for me making the phone call through their search. Like I’m solely responsible for his advertising budget. He left his sticker on our equipment expecting us to us him in the future as if that would ever happen knowing how he runs his business. Thanks but no thanks!!
Air cool was very responsive when we realized our ac was not working at 9pm. Steve was able to respond within about 45 mins and had us back up and running in no time. I would highly recommend air cool to anyone.

My A/C stopped blowing cold air, I searched online for emergency service and luckily found someone to come out right at that moment (10pm). Steve at Air Cool A/C was the tech and fixed the problem in 15 minutes, he knew what the issue was by listening to the unit, incredible! He was a true professional in his craft and I’m glad that my house is cooling down once again. I would recommend this company for any A/C maintenance.
Steve was very nice and responded to concerns in a professional manner. He fixed the problem (unclogged the AC drain and cleared out the main line) and was on his way once things were verified in working order. Highly recommend!
Called for emergency AC repair after hours. Steve came out and repaired the AC quickly! He came from Plant City to Lakeland--and fast. We thought we were going to have to stay at a hotel because it was going to be a timely repair but it literally took him 20 minutes to fix. Would definitely recommend for FAST and professional service. EDIT TO ADD: He sat and waited for me to write my review before telling me my price which was VERY expensive. FINAL EDIT: The Air Cool A/C Technician from Plant City, Steve, showed up after normal business hours to repair a water leak at the Air Handler. He fixed the water leak, but gave no indication of the cost involved. After the repair, he asked if I would give him a good review on Google. He waited while the review was done. When he was satisfied that a stellar review was posted, he let me know that the cost was $557 for 25 minutes of work. He did not give me an estimate of cost, and never advised me of his after-hour rates. He also did not write paid on the invoice after charging my credit card. The next day, the property manager was notified who then said they wouldn't cover the cost. They called Steve to see why the cost was so high and he lied to them and said he was there 2 hours! They said they then looked him up on the BBB and saw complaints against him. I called Steve to see if he would lower the bill because it was, after all, excessive. He said, "if you adjust my review I will take the cost down to $350." I no longer feel this company can be trusted. The fact that he waited to give me the invoice until he got a good review from me is an underhanded business practice. Most customers needing a/c repairs will check his reviews and call for service, not realizing that he is tricking them into giving good reviews, then charging excessive costs. To people thinking of using this man for after-hours work, I do not recommend him. He price gouges. If you so choose to go with him-just be prepared to pay a lot of money.
