I have known Juan since before AirCommander1 when he installed two full units in my home in 2015. I followed him when he started his own business and it's now going on eight years of relations. He does twice yearly checks/maintenance on my systems and installed a third full unit this year. He is fair and I trust his quotes and pricing without question. He's also a great guy, along with his whole team, and goes above and beyond in response times and quality work. Thank you Juan!
My AC was not functioning properly, Air Commander 1 had a technician out to my house in an hour. Chris was so professional and fixed our issues within 20 minutes. Highly recommended. Amazing service!
Last year after the February freeze our system went out. We called Air Commander 1 and Juan and his team were prompt to help and repair our unit. A couple of weeks after our unit was replaced our backup unit in the attic went out too. Turns out it had been working too hard to keep up. We called Juan again and once again they promptly replaced our unit. We even had all our ducts cleaned and he gave us a discount. Great customer service, prompt response, and friendliness. We will continue to use their services when needed. We decided to wait a year before leaving a review to see how it all turned out and to leave an honest review. This is Miguel from Mesquite. Juan replaced my air conditioning compressor (outdoor unit). Gave me a very, very good price and installed it the same day! The unit he gave me was an excellent brand with full 10 yr warranty. Ice cold air now! It was raining, he always took off his boots, and was extremely polite. Answered my texts quickly, too. I really appreciate him and his assistant. Highly recommend.
I wish I could give a zero or negative number rating to this contractor. Juan gave me a good price on the unit and the installation. However, the quality of the installation was very poor. He didn’t do any work and all the work was done by his assistants/apprentices. There was so much water coming from the AC unit that it started to overflow from the drain pan and drench my ceiling (the air flow unit and the furnace are in the attic). I called him and let him know of the problem and he said he would take care of it in a few days as his wife was sick. After that he stopped answering my calls...no customer support whatsoever. It cost me $1300 to have another contractor come and fix the mess of a job they did. I had to pay an additional $1600 to get the sheet rock replaced and have the ceiling painted. So at the end, I actually spent lot more than what I would have if I had gone with a reputable AC shop. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE GOOD PRICE. You won’t get anything close to what you pay for. Zero customer service after the job (a very bad one) is done. Hope this review helps at least some people.

Air Commander 1 4-4-2020 We just had our air ducts replaced and new blown-in insulation in our attic. We added an air scrubber to our ductwork. Our house was built in 1951 and just running our HVAC for a couple of hours I could tell a big difference in the air quality of our home and how stable our room temperature is. The installers are very nice, professional, and clean up after they are job is completed. I would highly recommend them. Thank you, Juan, and your crew for the fantastic job.

Juan and his crew really came through for me and my family at a critical time. We had been quoted astronomical prices by 3 large HVAC companies before someone referred him to me. He gave us a very honest assessment of the necessary work and installed a brand new AC unit for less than half the price the large companies quoted. His post-sale support has been amazing and he has far exceeded expectations by taking the time to educate me and answer any questions I've had. Juan and his crew are thorough, clean, courteous and hard-working. I highly recommend Air Commander 1. They should absolutely be your first call for HVAC work.
Juan did an excellent job replacing an entire air conditioning system from a home built in 1975! His team removed the original unit and replaced it with a brand new HVAC system, and it is working beautifully! He then came back later and helped us with one other minor issue. He and his team were efficient and professional. I would definitely recommend this business.

Juan and his crew have handled our HVAC needs for about a decade now. They have always provided us excellent service and are quite expedient, when needed. We just had them out again and they fixed the problem within 24 hrs of our call. They are awesome!

Juan and his crew were Awesome!!! I was having issues with my AC unit not cooling. I called Juan and he made it out that same day as promised. He was honest with his findings and very fair on price. He was very helpful every step of the way, thoroughly, explaining the issues with my unit. I signed up for his Preventative maintenance agreement. This is the GO TO company. I highly recommend Juan and his crew and will be using them in the future!!!
Last week, another company quoted me thousands to replace my unit .. Thank goodness I got Juan’s name from a family member — Juan and his crew came out, advised it was only a compressor issue, and resolved the issue quickly and affordably. AC is up and running - will never use anyone else.
Didn't want to but had to rate I star to do a review. I started using Juan Sanchez in 2008 when his company was called Lone Star Climate Control which he later named Air Commader1. For 10 years I was pleased with the service, had complete trust in Juan and recommended him to my closest friends. I don't know what has happened to change Juan, but he is no longer the honest and trustworthy person he once was. Juan did not come on my service call this July, but sent his nephew, Alex, who told me I needed an indoor coil due to a leak & Juan called and quoted me $2100 and he would pick the coil up Monday and be there Tuesday morning at 7:00 AM. Tuesday morning Juan did not come. His nephew Alex and a friend came. After 3 1/2 hs. I had to leave for work & left them still installing. To make a long story short......the A/C ran continuously & the master bedroom stayed so hot (80),that I had to run a box fan. They had broken the light fixture in the attic, & left wires hanging out of the ceiling trapdoor. I contact Juan who said he would come and fix the problems. After 2 weeks & No Juan, I called another A/C contractor who found multiple issues with the installation (one being a major safety issue with the venting) and the coil was not functioning at 100%. At his suggestions, I contacted Juan again and discussed the situation and the money I had spent trying to get the A/C fixed. Juan said he'd been out of town & his mother was ill and the right thing to do was come over with this electrician and fix the broken fixture and write a check for the money I spent and he would come the next day. Again, Juan was a no show. I called again. Juan schedule a time to come. Called & cancelled due to a forgotten Dr. Appt. Finally got him to come so he could get a new coil under the 10 yr warranty & he washed off the outside of the A/C unit & said it was fine, did not even look at the coil & refused to exchange the coil & said he no longer did A/C work as he was too old fo
I had service from Air Commander in 2015 with 5 year warranty on parts, and We have been calling to come back and fix the problem that we are having since November of 2017 but all he Does is make promises that he ordered the parts and that he’s out of town and that he will called us back when the parts arrived ?!! And he’s ignoring our texts and voice mails and to this date never got back to us !! We trust it him because He claims that he is also a Pastor but the truth is he’s a thief and make promises that he can’t keep we pay him 2,700.00 dollars for nothing Now I have to pay someone also to fix he’s mess .. for your own shake don’t trust him or believe nothing he does or said he’s Not honest and he lies shame on him Juan Sanchez “The Commander” 😡😡😡😡

Was having issues with no cold air coming out. Alex came out and identified the issue right away, it was due wiring to the compressor. He fixed it quickly and now I'm all set for summer. Very professional and respectful, would recommend.
