He seemed nice but wanted my address, the house address, mine and the ex wife's numbers, and a copy of my driver's license. Kept asking how he would get paid. I explained to him several times it would be cash.
Air Carolina (Mike Clark), has serviced our HVAC since 2016, and we cannot imagine trusting anyone more or being more satisfied with a professional. Mike is responsive, prompt and efficient, and goes beyond the required service. He services our heat pump, a mini split in our garage apartment, and our tankless water heater: all are kept in top condition. The blower motor in the mini split recently began squeaking. Mike attempted to fix it, but determined that the motor was defective. He called the manufacturer for us, determined that the motor was under warranty, and arranged to have the new motor sent to us. Within a few days the new motor arrived, which Mike installed. No professional has treated our needs as his own the way Mike does. We feel fortunate to have him as our HVAC pro.

Mike Clark is very knowledgeable about his work. He arrived exactly when he said he would. Located the problem almost immediately and after replacing the circuit board he cleaned my unit inside and out, it looks like new again.
I was referred to Mike Clark after another company tried to get me to replace my AC unit. Mike showed up within an hour of receiving my call and treated me like family. He quickly identified the trouble, clearly explained his findings and gave me helpful preventative tips. He had all the parts available to repair the unit the next morning. I'm so thankful to Mike for saving me thousands of dollars.
I scheduled a semi-annual HVAC checkup. The technician arrived on time, wore shoe covers when he entered my house, and was polite and professional. He did what needed to be done, replaced the filter, put everything back as he found it. Whatever he did, he corrected a problem I'd had with my thermostat. Service was about $150; not cheap but worth the expense to keep my HVAC unit running efficiently.
Had Mike Clark in for HVAC maintenance, first time customer. He spent a lot of time checking my systems, showed me a few things that had my AC not working up to capacity. This was due to carelessness by my prior service company. He fixed the issues, charged a fair price, and has earned my future business. I highly recommend Air Carolina VS the "big" boys that just want to sell you stuff you do not need.
Mike was able to find the problem that has had our unit mess up every year! We have had multiple people come out and he is the only one that has been able to diagnose the problem and fix it. Highly Recommend.

Mike is the BEST!! If I could give 10 stars, I would! Mike came highly recommended by a friend of mine, after two failed attempts by my home warranty company to fix my HVAC. After the second contractor came through and diagnosed my system with a leak in the evap coil, they then quoted me SEVEN HUNDRED & FIFTY DOLLARS to replace $100 in parts not covered by the warranty. As a single woman and sole provider, I felt crushed by their insanely high markup. Within the next 24 hours, Mike was referred to me, answered when I called the first time, came to my home, ran a full diagnostic on my system, found ZERO leaks in the evap coil, replaced two parts from my outside unit (which he had in stock), and had my system up and running in less than 2 hours. He used a hose to clean the dirt and leaf buildup around my outside unit (something neither home warranty contractor had done) and left zero mess inside. Mike charged $225, broken down by labor and raw materials, fair and understandable. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone who values fantastic customer service, fair and honest pricing, and work done right the first time.

I have had great experiences with Air Carolina Heating & Air! Their professionalism and customer service are simply the best. They recently installed an entire new heating and air conditioning system in my house, complete with all new ductwork and disposal of all the old system. They are knowledgeable, highly skilled, honest, and friendly. They have done work for my family for years now, and I wouldn't even think of choosing another HVAC specialist.
I had my entire system replaced....gas furnace, a/c, and ductwork. They did an outstanding job! Mike was onsite every day. Very professional installation....I would highly recommend for any HVAC installation or repair.
Air Carolina is my go to service for HVAC. I have trusted Mike Clark to provide great service ever since he solved major issues with my AC back in 2002. During a recent heating system inspection he showed me serious safety issues with pictures of the unit internals. We discussed replacement options and I choose the unit that best fit my needs and budget. Mike installed the new unit on schedule in less than a day including clean up. He and his crew wore PPE. The new unit is working perfectly.

Daniel, Brad, Rashad and Ramon were her on two consecutive days to set up and install our generator. What a great job. They were here when they said they would be, worked hard even in difficult weather. Were very respectful and helpful. These guys are a definite 5 star.
I highly recommend Mike Clark for your heating and air conditioning needs. He provided excellent service, in working to come out at a time that was convenient for me, arriving promptly when he said he would and communicating his findings and providing an estimate that was fair and competitive. He replaced one of two ac units and then found that one of my heating units was not safe and replaced it. He did not try to push me to replace the other ac or heating unit; they are old but still both working. It is great to find that there are still individuals out there who provide such great customer service.
