We need a HVAC tech to assess and replace our double-sided wall-hung heater in our rental house. Putting an ad on the Angi, the owner/tech person of Air Care heating & A/C answered us almost immediately. His fast action is very welcome because this kind of working speed is lacking in our society today. And, He started working the following day after his busy schedule. He did not ask us to buy a replacement heater from him (because we already bought one from the local Home Depot) but gave us an estimation of the hours he would need to complete the job. His estimation was reasonable, better than two other named plumbing LLCs in the region. When he showed up to work, he was well organized and brought some small parts that might be needed to complete the job. Yes, he assessed the condition of the heater and gave us advice. We agree that the new heater is necessary. He took down & disposed the existing heater and placed the new one in place. He did not waste any time but did a superb job (incl. getting up to the rooftop checking the vent pipe to see if it is clean and in safe condition). When the work was done, we paid him right on the spot. He told us to call him if we had any questions or problem. We find him reliable, trustworthy, dependable, and doing professional work seriously. Dave at Air Care was wonderful...very friendly, helpful, professional, and attentive to our heating issue. He quickly resolved the problem between our EcoBee Smart Thermostat and our gas furnace. We now have heat again during some very cool weather...so good! It is great to know there are fair and knowledgeable HVAC technicians, like Dave, still here on the Central Coast! Dave is AWESOME! He is timely, entertaining and reasonably priced AND he does a great job! He has helped me with several repairs around my homes and helped me check off my laundry list of hvac to-dos. While I hate to share this information as I would like to keep him all to myself, alas I must share the Dave wealth with the community! Finally! After years of freezing 🥶 and paying heat and air guys to come and do nothing, Dave came and said the ducts were torn and heating the attic. What? No one else could see that?
