They did an amazing job! They were thorough, found the problem & the A/C is working like new. I would highly recommend them.
We’ve used AirCare for many years and we really liked the technician who came almost every time. We have a very old system and maintaining it annually always costs a little more than the basic service. But the last two summers the service was not what we’re used to. Last summer we needed some repairs and the usual tech was away. We paid $500 for repairs and bought a new thermostat and they said they’d come back to finish. Whole summer went by and nobody came. Finally got someone to finish the job. They were sorry and tried to make it right. Ok. By this time summer was almost over and we only used the AC a handful of times. Now this summer we gave them one more chance, they came and did the basic service. We were not expecting anything major since we hardly used the AC last summer. Said we needed refrigerant. Ok, this has happened before. So we agreed. They said we need 1 -1.5 pounds at $100/pound. Ok. This has happened before and it ended up being $200-$250 total. Our bill today was $580 with no warning!!!. This is more than all the repairs last summer. More than any summer service we’ve ever had even adding refrigerant. And to not be warned. It was a huge hit financially and very disappointing. According to the invoice we were charged for 1.75 hours of labor….we’ve never paid for labor on a summer service call…not even when we needed refrigerant. Never again.
