Air-1 Mechanical, provided me with prompt and reliable service. They arrived at the set time and wore masks and shoe protectors. They investigated the furnace problem explained it and told me what the repair entailed and the cost. My furnace was repaired in a short time. I will certainly use them if needed in the future..

Air1 came through when others were unresponsive or unavailable. When our water heater quit, Cindy from Air1 was professional on the phone and kind enough to send Jay over (from 45 miles away!) that very night ... There were actually no appointments available until the next day, but Jay came anyway, and was courteous, respectful, and knowledgeable. An estimate was provided and a new water heater was installed by Jay and Jimmy two days after. Cindy followed up by phone and email and Jay continues to be responsive via text for any follow-up questions. Very professional and responsive service! We are grateful we found Air1 and will likely use them again for future HVAC and/or plumbing needs.
Mr Marc Davila is a prompt and knowledgeable technician. He quickly found the problem with my air condition unit, and explain in detail how to solve my AC problem. Highly recommend Air 1 mechanical, awesome customer service and trustworthy. Keep up the good work
Thank you Air 1 for your kind assistance to a recently widowed 68 year who is desperate to get help with her gas heating unit. It was after 5pm, there was no available technician for the night, but the very nice Air 1 gentleman walked me through restarting the unit over the phone after asking questions of what may have caused the unit to stop operating. It’s very seldom you find a service company doing an extra mile providing excellent customer service even to someone who is not an existing customer. Thank you again from a soon to be customer.

Danny has come to my house on two seperate occasions for two different reasons. He's always been so friendly and informative. He even went above and beyond his duties to discuss other concerns I had regarding our AC unit even though he was there to work on our water heater. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and even told me not to waste my money on certain services as they would not improve the efficiency of our system. Avoiding wasteful expenses is something I REALLY appreciated!!! He was honest and straight foward. Just what I needed. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in the DC Metro Area.
Reasonable price and prompt response. I had both AC and furnace replaced, they also installed a new thermostat for the house. I was very pleased with their services.

Danny was wonderful to work with! Our 30+ year old A/C was broken. I interviewed more than 5 different HVAC service contractors, and Air 1 was by far the best. The technicians were knowledgeable and gave us a reasonable rate. They came on time, were friendly, helpful, and really went above and beyond in installing a new A/C and furnace. I was extremely impressed by their professionalism and the excellent work that they did. We now have wonderful A/C working again - and our electricity bills are much lower than before as we have a much more efficient unit. I would absolutely recommend this company!
Danny Ruiz from Air 1 Alexandria Heating & Cooling has been servicing our heat pump for many, many, many years. I have and will consistantly use him because of his honesty, fair pricing, & high quality work that he offers. Recently I had to have my entire heat pump replaced. He was very patient in answering all my questions and guiding me to heat pump model that would best suit my expectations. I would absolutely recommend him & his company.
Thank you Air1. Our technician was a very smart and courteous man. He looked at my equipment and since we knew from previous people who repaired our unit that it just wasn't worth putting money into. He was very upfront with that but did give me the information I would need to decide whether to repair the unit again or just replace it. He quoted me a great price. The technician was very helpful and even kept taking his shoes off each time he entered my home. He also didnt try to just sell me the product because he wanted to make sure both my husband and I were in agreement so he offered to speak to my hubby who was away before anything was decided. Thank you for the great service.
As a female consumer, there are two things that I place great value on: customer service and time efficiency. Often times, being a female in this consumer market it is difficult to find companies, organizations, technicians, etc to understand that these things are critically important in maintaining their business with clients. When Danny from Air1 came to my home to address issues with the furnace and hot water heater, he offered a wealth of expertise, professional and friendly service, and most importantly, he was sensitive to my time. He understood that I had a lot of questions as to why things weren't working, and he answered every single one of them. He explained with an enormous amount of detail and knowledge - very important - how the units work. He works fast and diligently, which shows he takes his work seriously and that he values his clients. He expeditiously fixed both of our issues while providing unbelievably great customer service. He really knows what he's talking about, but you can also tell that he genuinely cares - not giving you the run around like some other people. Prices are fair and reasonable. Definitely recommending to friends, family and everyone I know!
The compressor for our heat pump failed in late December. We solicited bids from a number of HVAC contractors, and decided on Air 1. While not the lowest price, they were more competitive than most and Mr. Ruiz gave us a very professional and well-documented estimate. Attentive to our specific situation, he gave us four different options and the specifics and costs for each. On the day of the installation, Danny and Kevin were: (1) punctual; (2) courteous; (3) considerate of our home and items that might need covering or moving; (4) hard-working; and (5) left no debris. When all was done, Danny gave a complete review of what was done, what to expect would be different with the new system, along with items for future consideration.
