I called Sam on a holiday weekend as my central air unit wasn’t functioning properly, and he was at my front door within a few hours and the problem was solved in its entirety soon thereafter. Not the first time I’ve had a positive experience with Sam, Preston, and the Affordable team. Would recommend for anyone in the area for quick and reliable HVAC services.
Sam was amazing. Our 4 year old pool heater broke a day before our daughter's wedding. Broken pool heaters require an HVAC professional for repairs, I am so happy I found Sam, he's a true old school business owner, honest and has real pride in his work.
This guy sold us a bill of goods. And the repair man wants nothing to do with repairing. A year last august my ex bought a heater. And it has not run right since the day she got it. The repair guy keeps telling her it something else. It’s everything but the heater. He replaced the motherboard at $400 even though it was a new machine they still made her pay. And I know from working a similar industry that you can get a board for a customer of a new machine free of charge. I know he could have done that for her. Just the amount of advantage sone ppl take of others by sone of these people is astounding. I’m glad they have a 4.5 rating good for them. But it’s been a 0.0 for my ex. $6k for the heater. And no she had to replace every other component because Affordable Heating & Cooling don’t want to repair their heater. I looked the heater up on YouTube and they have lots of little quirky issues, parts that break. And they open them up and fix the issue. Not this guy he want to fixing by replacing everything else. They should like a joke. Fix the heater. Sam all my wife gets from your company is lip service and talking about pump pressures etc. Make her whole and I’ll remove the bad review. It actually could be a bad part in the heater as shown all over YouTube. Yet no one has taken a wrench to the heater yet!!!! It’s a bad part in the heater. Fix it please. It’s practically brand new.
Sam is a great guy. He answered his phone right away on a Sunday and said he could come out and work on my unit the next day. I didnt get any nonsense with him like the brand name companies. He was very down to earth and did exactly what he said he was going to do, and didnt try to sell me on things I didnt need. He's a straight shooter. I highly recommend Sam and Affordable Heating & Cooling.
From the very first moment we called, we felt like we made the right choice. Sam answered our initial call at 7:20 AM. He was kind and courteous and had someone dispatched to our home by 8:30 that same morning. When Preston arrived at our house he introduced himself and was so nice right from the start. After he assessed the situation, he took the time to walk us through exactly what was wrong, showed it all to us, and gave us all of our options and the pricing. He did not push us on doing anything we weren’t prepared to do, nor did he use the scare tactics of “this whole thing is shot, it has to go” which we have experienced before. He was honest about the longevity of the parts that had the option of staying. Because if his honesty and his and Sam’s kindness, we chose to go with them and replace the whole system. When Preston returned a few days later to do the work, he was so efficient, answered any additional questions we had. Everything was cleaned up beautifully (honestly better than I think it was before), and the AC is arctic level. My husband and I are so very appreciative to the hard work put in and so happy to have had some truly nice people help us. I would HIGHLY recommend Affordable Heating and Air to anyone in need of HVAC services. We look forward to seeing them for years to come in maintaining our units. Thank you!!!!
Called about a pool heater. As advertised the owner did answer the phone. Very knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and just as important asked me a lot of questions.

I called Sam at 10:30pm and he answered right away. I had a problem where my AC wasnt turning on. Sam walked me through several things to check and we discovered that my condensate drain was plugged and it tripped the safety switch which wouldnt allow the ac unit to turn on. Because of Sam i was able to fix the problem and we had the ac back up and running in no time. He helped me trouble shoot over the phone and didnt charge me a dime. Companies like this are almost non existant now a days. Because of Sams honesty, knowledge and professionalism he has made a customer for life. Thanks again Sam!
This heating and AC company has been nothing Short of spectacular. I called on a Saturday night and got a live person. I believe it was the owner. He trouble shot my heating problems over the telephone. He was kind, courteous, and very understanding about our concerns. We have children living in the house. They came out the next day and replaced the parts to get the heating unit up and running. I highly recommend this company.
My boiler wasn't working correctly I was out of heat and hot water for 2 weeks I had Horizon at my home on four different occasions, trying to repair my boiler I even was about to buy a brand new boiler from them which was $22,000, Also called 1 hour plumbing they knew nothing was a complete joke! My wife and I was at each other throats boiling hot water buying space heaters it was crazy! So she went online and found Affordable Heating we call and Sam walk me through the issues over the phone for over 2 hours and he knew what the problem was and said he'll be there the next morning I told him if he get my heat working I will buy a new boiler from him, Sam came the next morning and I'm going to tell you my boiler is working perfect and it's 36 years old and he got it working. I am going to tell you Sam is Batman and Preston is Robin they are great! Going forward Sam is going to put in a new boiler for me already put a down payment, my advice to everyone please do not go with these commercial companies these young kids don't know anything Sam is the best I ever seen.

Sam the owner was friendly and extremely helpful and had someone at my house within 30 minutes maybe even quicker than that. The tech was honest and extremely kind as well, and fixed my heating within minutes. I will be using affordable heating and cooling and refrigeration for all my heating and cooling needs. They were honest, quick and affordable what more could you want. Top notch service thank you again
I would like to Thank Sam for answering my call right away. My furnace stopped working last night and I began to stress out due to the thought of the cost. I found this company and Sam made me feel as if I was a part of the family. He is very honest and kind. Thank you Sam!
Fixed my furnace right the first time
Sam provided great communication throughout the entire process. He explained what the possible issue was and how to prevent it in the future. Sam was also very flexible with accommodating my work schedule around the service call. Great Customer Service overall. Preston was the service tech that came out for our issue. He gave us a call to ensure our time window would work. When he arrived, he was able to identify and solve our issue quickly. Preston explained that we needed a new igniter as well as a pressure switch. Excellent Customer Service!! I will definitely be a return customer.
