Matt showed up promptly at the appointment time & even called 10 minutes ahead to say he was on his way. He found and fixed the problem with our central heat/air and also replaced the thermostat with one my wife liked better than the one we had. Affordable Heating & Air did another job for us in the past to a wall unit in a separate structure from the main house. Both times we would give them a 5-Star rating in every category. We would highly recommend them. It it such a wonderful thing to find expert, honest people to deal with! Thank you Matt & the rest of the Affordable team!
We had used this company before and were satisfied. This year we wanted to have a tech come out and check our heating system before turning it on for the winter. They had to cancel because the tech had an accident and we re-scheduled for the following week. I got up early to wait for the tech scheduled between 8 and 10 a.m. and then get a call wanting to delay for another week. Was told they had too much going on. I said we should be first in line since they had to cancel the week before, but no such luck. This business has lost our support. Not very professional to try and make us wait again.
We have multiple heating and air units on a small commercial building and we use Joe whenever we need service and have for many years.
In February 2018, my home was repaired from a major house fire. B Line Construction hired Reasonable Heating & Air to install the heating and AC system. I had them come by for maintenance today as I understood it was leaking refrigerant and the blower motor was excessively loud. My room runs 20 degrees warmer than the rest of my home. I have a medical condition and I need an efficient unit. Joe the owner was not at all helpful. The unit was years old when installed and has no warranty.
Do the Math. Waved the $69.00 fee, but charged $304.00 to replace a $20.00 part that took less that 20 mins to replace. I don't see a value and clearly not affordable. Will never call them again
very positive experience. Sergei was very friendly and thorough. i got the impression that they are an honest business that doesn't try to upsell you on anything you don't need. he spent extra time to assist me with further maintenance and to try to save me from future fiascoes. i will be using this company exclusively for any HVAC needs in the future.
I've used these folks about 4 times. They're always on time! Very professional staff. Casey came today and was awesome! He explained my options and didn't try to take advantage. He got my unit up and running until the part comes in. They're very reasonable on their prices..I'm disabled, on a fixed income and live alone. I appreciate that they are reasonable with their prices. They've earned a loyal customer! Thanks so much!
I highly recommend this firm! I have a large 2-story home that has two AC systems. I tried three or four different firms over the years and was not happy with their service. In fact, Butler AC kicked some blown in insulation into the drip pan which plugged the drain and the overflow required replacing a soaked ceiling. Then one of my systems failed and I had four different firms look it over and give me estimates for repair. All said my unit was shot and wanted between $11K and $14k. A friend recommended it try Affordable Heating & Air and its owner Joe Bertolucci. His team was very professional and knew what they were doing. They replaced a blown capacitor and had my system up and going almost immediately. All of my neighbors had to replace their original units around the time mine blew a capacitor. Affordable continued to service my dual units and kept all working well for over ten more years. When mine finally went, Joe educated me on my real options along with his recommendation. His total cost to replace mine and both replace some tired plastic ducting and re-duct to improve cooling in two back bedrooms was less than one vendor wanted to charge to replace one unit ten years earlier.
DO NOT USE! I bought a place and we noticed the HVAC was in poor condition and requested the seller pay to have a company come out and clean it and give it an inspection. They passed it, their report didn't have freon levels,coil condition, etc. Come to find out, it broke shortly after and will cost $11,000 to put in a new one. They are NOT A GOOD COMPANY!!
This company is honest and trustworthy had a problem they came out and fixed it. They were willing to work with me and they were fast and reliable

I am part owner with my husband , Joe and I share pride in our company. I do want to mention that I have a large family home over 100 years old, which through my entire life has been freezing in the winter and frying hot in the summer---until Joe took it on. I really thought i'd never be as comfortable in it as I am now. Thank you for taking on the challenge and have the technical understanding. You figured it all out right!

We had Affordable A/C install a complete system last year, when we had an issue the other day I called Mary and she set up an appointment. The technician took his time and did a thorough diagnosis, while answering all my questions about his procedures. Within a short time he told me what was needed, and if he could return the next day to repair it. The next day, the items in question were replaced and he would not leave until our system was fully operational! When writing up the work order I was pleased to see that this was all covered under warranty! This an example of their “after the sale” commitment to customer service!
