William is reliable, personable and professional. My A/C system was a huge job and very complicated. William did an AWSOME job on my house. He put in a brand new 3 ton system with all the old duct work pulled out and replaced. On top of that we had a mini split installed on the mother-in-law suit. Its been months and everything works perfect. Had everything looked over by a 3rd party. I had several estimates. William is the only A/C contractor I will hire from now on. I've lived in this area for over 25 year and know a lot of A/C professionals. Go with William and Affordable A/C. 100%
Original installation some 5-6 years ago was reasonably good, except filter holder tray was never secured. The last maintenance was done in July 2022. Three months later the a/c flooded the carpet. Affordable A/C office and William disregarded all my phone calls, e-mails and texts. Another company diagnosed and fixed the problem, a dirty and clogged coil. Why wasn’t I alerted that the coil needed cleaning after the last maintenance? Very unprofessional and unhelpful.
Have used Affordable on several of my properties,They have done everything from completely new HAVAC system to repairing and correcting others mistakes. William and Karen have always exceeded our expectations with outstanding quality of work,service and product.I normally do not do reviews but I am so impressed with the integrity of this company and it’s employees they are my only air conditioning company!!! Our tech, William, was great. He arrived within 10 minutes of me calling for service. Luckily he was in the neighborhood. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the capacitor. He made knowledgeable recommendations, and even laughed at my corny jokes. A+
I have used Affordable AC for many years. William has always been quick to help when we needed repairs and honest on price. When it was time to replace our unit there was no question to go with Affordable AC. I knew it would be installed correctly with quality workmanship.
I hardly ever write reviews, but every so often I encounter a standout person or company that is worth noting. I recently purchased a home in Palm City, FL. After about 5 months of living here we noticed some smell emanating from the attic and our system not cooling as well. Turns out we has a slow coolant leak near our air handler in the copper coolant lines. Also the line was extremely cold (due to being undersized) and condensing everywhere on the line, saturating the insulation. The previous owner upgraded from a small A/C unit to a 4 ton, but never upgraded the copper coolant line size or the duct work to match the new system. My neighbor recommended William from Affordable A/C & Heating (based in Port St. Lucie, FL). William came at the end of his day, the same day that I called, and carefully walked me through his diagnosis after crawling through the attic of my house and assessing the system. He also provided a clear itemized quote on the spot. As a home owner there are few things that matter most when hiring someone...how they communicate with you, their competency, their pricing and their trustworthiness...William checks each of those boxes and is a downright likable guy at the same time. We ultimately hired William and Steve to replace all of our copper coolant lines, old decrepit/undersized duct work, add a new return, add new supply vents, clean the moldy air handler, etc. Our system is leak free with all the correct copper and duct work and it is finally balanced/cooling the house evenly and efficiently. Also the unit runs much more quietly now that things are sized properly. William took the initiative to do everything properly without me having to ask for it...he even left us with a long term supply of filters for the system. We left William and Steve alone in the house for 2 days and always returned to a clean home.
