Called them on Saturday afternoon around 4 pm. They were able to come out the same day, which was highly appreciated. The diagnostic on the unit was fairly priced compared to all other companies I contacted. Joey serviced the unit and got it back up and running. He was very personable and professional. Would highly recommend them and will call again if the need arises.
Joey was awesome and very informative with the a/c service/tune up. I'll be recommending Advanced Air Specialist to friends and family. He even got to my house within 2.5hrs of calling. Great service!
I called them on a property where the outside fan on the unit wasn't working. They were going to charge $99 for the service call and I said I would call someone else. They then said they would waive the service fee. They arrived at the home several hours later, but on the same day for which I am very appreciative. After just a few minutes of cleaning the outdoor unit, the unit was fixed...again grateful and happy it wasn't something serious. Here's where the 1 star rating comes in...they charged me $275!!! No parts, because there wee none....this was the charge for 15 minutes of cleaning!!! Pretty sure the service call wasn't actually waived. I have no respect for companies who gouge you just because they can. I would have gladly paid $150 for the time and trouble, but $275 is exorbitant! Won't call them again!
Michael S. is an excellent plumber; you can trust him with most complex projects ; I am confident that he will do an excellent job! Michael has integrity and puts customers' interests at his heart; he is dependable and thorough, and again, the trust that he has earned with me is a rare characteristic among contractors these days. Thank you, Michael S.!
Advanced Air installed the heating and cooling system in my home and regularly maintains it. I have been a customer for years. They are always friendly and very professional in the work they do. I would highly recommend them.
Chelsea took my information over the phone and had someone at the house within the hour. The technician, David, was thorough and professional. He gave me exactly what I was looking for and also answered all of my questions. It was really nice to have my concerns validated. The tech was on time, called thirty minutes before arrival, and I wasn't stuck at my house waiting all day. I couldn't be more pleased with this company and will continue to have work done with them.
I have been using Advanced Air Specialists for several years now and have always been satisfied with the service. I had a new A/C, heat pump, and furnace installed and have been very happy with the equipment. I can actually get my house cold in the summer (if need be) and it stays warm in the winter. I have not had any problems with the equipment but I do have it checked a couple of times a year through the maintenance plan. I have been very happy with the technicians that have come to the house as well anyone I have spoken with via phone, very friendly in all cases.
This was the 3rd time Advanced Air has come to our home as a part of their service/maintenance program. It is also the 3rd different technician that has come. Every experience has been the same--very professional and courteous technicians. They have explained what they have found in very understandable ways and shown the readings on their equipment. I felt I had been adequately informed about any problem and what it would cost for repairs. I have been very, very pleased in our dealing with Advanced Air.
Advanced Air Specialist came to my home the other day to perform a fall inspection on my heating unit. Perry was thorough, informative, and very professional. We first employed their services when our air conditioner quit working this summer. They were able to diagnose and repair our system in no time. I would highly recommend their services. Five stars in my book!
We had an air conditioning system go out on us a while back. The professionals at Advanced Air did a great job and got us worked into the schedule to get us back in our house (of course it was 100 degrees outside when the AC failed). They put us up in a hotel for the night and then installed our new system the next day. They do follow up service and they are friendly and professional, always. I have been impressed by Advanced Air at every turn.
My experience with Advanced Air Specialists was very good. The person who set up the appointment arranged for the service person to check the systems in two homes that I own at the same time. The service person arrived at the appointed time, was courteous, and answered all question that I had about the system. I am very pleased with the service.
All around Advanced Air Specialist of OKC was fabulous. Very professional and courteous through the entire process. Joey was very knowledgeable and helped me out tremendously. I highly recommend their seasonal tuneup and services.
After an inspection for our home sale noted the a/c units needed to be cleaned and tuned up, I hopped on the phone with OKC HVAC companies. Advanced Air Specialist had the best rates out of the half a dozen other calls. They were able to make it happen next day.
Great experience. Joey was super helpful and timely. He made a great recommendation. The installers were on time and done in about 6 hours with a complete removal and install. Jessica was great and helped us get our ONG rebate stuff together. All around a great experience. Got a nice cool house now!!! Would highly recommend.
I've used this company twice now. Both times, they have been extremely friendly, quick to act, and honest about my options. After calling around to see if their price was fair to replace my entire heating and air system, they were the best price with the fastest service. I'll never use another company!
The smaller A/C unit that cools our bonus room upstairs stopped running. After looking around online and doing the self-diagnostic tests that are recommended and that I felt I could handle, I concluded it was the capacitor. Not wanting to take any chances I thought I would have a professional come out and look at it. Advanced Air Specialists responded promptly (before 2 other companies) so I thought I would let them have my business. They couldn't make it out till the next day, which we didn't mind that much because we don't have to use the upstairs. The tech on the phone even said he thought it was the capacitor based on what I told him. So the tech came out while I was at work. The window was from 11 to 2 and he got there around 2:30, not really a huge deal. He was there for about 15 minutes, replaced the capacitor, got the A/C working and left. $99 trip charge and $275!!! for the capacitor. I cannot find a $275 capacitor anywhere. I can't find a $100 capacitor. Finding a capacitor over $20 is difficult. I tried to get someone to give me pricing over the phone. The only price they would divulge is the trip charge, and now I know why. They want to get you on the hook for at least the trip charge so then you know you might as well pay them for the repair because if you don't then you have to get another company out there to do the job, pay another trip charge and the surcharge on the part, and then it all ends up being a wash. No I would not recommend this company to anyone. I feel like pricing should be as upfront as possible. I tried calling the company when I found out what the price was for the repair and the rep who answered said she would have the tech reach out to me. The tech contacted me promptly and said verbatim that they are priced high because they do good work and respond promptly. I just feel it is a bad business practice to withhold pricing and then mark up a part $200+, and afterward admit you are overpriced but say the customer
I returned from a week long trip on July 4 to find that my AC was not working. I called at 5:30 pm on a holiday expecting to get an answering machine in hopes that I would get a call on the 5th. Instead I got an answering service that relayed my message to a technician. He called me within about 5 minutes. He stated that he had 4 visits to make ahead of me and asked if it would be OK for him to come that late or if I wanted to schedule for early the next morning. I chose the next morning. I got a call July 5 at 7:00 am to say they would have someone out between 8-11. At 8:00 I received a call that the technician was on his way out. He was nice, helpful and very professional. My unit could not be repaired and I was told I would have to replace it. I was expecting to have to wait at least a day or two but they were able to replace it by 2:30 that same afternoon. I would highly recommend this company.
The techs & service reps were very kind and professional on the phone and in person, and I can definitely appreciate that. My problem with them is that they incorrectly diagnosed the problem and were quoting us THOUSANDS of dollars to replace it or repair the current system. We had them out when our AC stopped cooling, and the first time they just charged it with Freon and said it was good to go ($200 for coolant & the service call... ok not too bad) . It stopped working again 5 days later and they came back out and said it had all leaked out and it was frozen up again. They said we had a leak somewhere, and that our blower motor was dead. Coolant was re-filled again (another $150), and they gave us a Quote... A blower motor would be $860 plus $200+ just to *find* the leak, plus whatever it would cost to fix the leak (they said $2200 ish for a replacement coil in the attic). Or we could buy a $9000 new Rudd system to replace our less than 10 year old Lennox... We called someone else to get a second opinion, and he came out and fixed it in less than 30 minutes (without 'adding' more Freon). I use quotes because it's been a few days since the last time AAS was out, and it's still fully charged (a little over-charged even), which leads me to question if they even added more last time or if it was actually leaking in the first place. What was so wrong with it that we needed a $1000+ repair or a new system?? A $10 capacitor was swollen on the blower. $10! In addition to this, both times they charged it, the condenser was not cleaned out. The second opinion tech explained that it's very difficult if not impossible to get an accurate charge with dirty coils (google confirmed this as well). So I don't know if both techs that came out were just incompetent, or if there was shady-ness going on to trick us in to buying a new system. Either way, it is totally UNACCEPTABLE.
I was given a time frame of 4-8 PM. The technician arrived promptly at 4:00 and quickly discovered what the issue was with my air and fixed it. After I checked out with the technician, I remembered I had a $25 off coupon. I called the office and they credited me back the $25 with no questions.
Perry was our technician that gave us great quality service! He serviced our AC system and then sold us on a brand new American Standard system to upgrade our 20 year old system that was on its last leg. He was able to offer different options for payment plans and that allowed us to upgrade immediately before the summer heat really set in. We were already very please with everything when the work was complete but then a week later an electrician was at our house doing some work on a separate job and during his inspection asked who did our AC system. He said, "Well they did an excellent job" and went on to further compliment their work. It was wonderful to get confirmation from another professional validating the quality of work Advanced Air Specialist provided us. Highly recommended! Ask for Perry!
