We had a great experience with this business. The owner came promptly to give us an estimate for a new A/C compressor we needed installed. He was direct and honest with us, and we appreciated the fact that he didn't try to waste our time. Other businesses quoted us absurd amounts and gave us the runaround when confronted about the inflated estimate. We'll definitely use this business again.
Mr jeff ( gentleman in charge of brookhaven area)charged me $1350 for repair of air heater, and it did not work back in Jan--i called him more than 25 times and ask if he can come in back and see what is wrong with that. after 5 weeks calling he came back to look and charged me another $500. first he asked for $950, and after i explained to him that io do not have that, he changed it to 800, then 700, then 600 and finally charged me $500. heater worked for few days and stopped.i tried to use the air conditioner in april and i called him, he never showed up, now i innovative air conditioner are working on my unit and i have to pay another 1200- i am filing claim againt this gentelman--do nit use him- he dose not know how to fix the unit-he just spends some time and charges money.
After a very informative conversation and review of our needs, he did exactly what we needed. He nonsense about a total rehaul of the whole system if it's functioning "okay" with dated equipment. Replaced what was needed and assessed that what was in place was better than what it would be replaced with. System working great now. Replaced the Air side of the system. House has never cooled and stayed that way ever! Great work!
The owner, Jeff, is the best around. He will always shoot you straight and will not try to rip you off. We have trusted him to repair and replace all of our units for the past few years and have never had any issues. If you are in the market for a new unit or in need of repair, do your self a favor and at least give them a call and compare against the other companies.
Jeff was professional and honest. I highly recommend this company for any needs. If I could give more stars I would. Extremely friendly and very knowledgeable and professional. My husband was very pleased with his expertise and service. Very clean and respectful.
Very fast and efficient service. Mr. Fink was very responsive and had very good prices for the new AC system he installed for me. Will use ACME Heating and Air again if ever needed in the future! Great job!
