American Home Shield had this company supposed to fix my home a/c. This company has been to my house three times already. I paid this company $500 for Freon. Their employee told me that I would not have to pay for Freon again when they had to repair my a/c. Now the day comes to fix my a/c and they want another $500 deposit for Freon. After their own employee said I would not have to pay. This company is dishonest. My child’s mom is a single mom with three kids. One is a baby. All of Ace’s one star reviews are from customers with American Home Shield warranties. They don’t want to do the repairs. So they make it impossible. They just said they will no longer be able to do the work because I’ve asked so many questions.
I called yesterday at 7:30 pm and by the time I called they got there fixed the problem and were done in 1 hour I highly recommend ace heating and cooling besides the repair I bought the unit from ace heating and cooling my air conditioner went I needed a new they came back the next morning and by 12:00 I had a brand new 5 ton unit installed. Thank you ace heating and cooling

Jake (Jacob) was professional, polite and respectful. We were without cooling air for over a week so when he got here he promptly came in and got to work to resolve our issue which another company's only advice was to totally replace the A/C unit which would have cost us in the thousands. He patiently explained what happened and the steps he took to save us money. Thanks Jake for your kind professional and cost saving service. I would highly recommend Jake and Ace Heating and Cooling company.
My A/C was diagnosed within minutes, defrost board failed, another company said I needed a new compressor. Saved me $3400.00. Thank you ACE for being a honest company I can trust.
They were assigned by American home sheild. Tech looked at unit said it needs 10 ilbs of freon and will cost 250 a ilb. I have multi properties just had 3 ibs at 65 per for under $200. They quoted 11,500 for 15 seer 5 ton ML series Lenox. These sell to public for 5500. So install is 6k? Getting a ICP Tempstar made by carrier put in 7,200 total. Shop around avoid this company.
Scam company. Tries to make up reasons not to do a repair but charge you to take out your evaporator 'to clean'. Avoid at all costs
ACE Heating and Cooling was assigned to us through our American Home Shield Home Warranty Service Request, so, I admit I was very uneasy due to previous experiences with other HVAC contractors, but, imagine my utter surprise and glee when I saw ACE Heating and Cooling was assigned to us. I already knew about their reputation in the Tampa community and boy they did not disappoint! ACE Heating and Cooling Services was absolutely stellar!! Jeremy was timely, professional, empathetic and resolved our issue. His skills were evident in his assessment, diagnosis and repair of our air conditioner. I would give him and the office representative a zillion stars if I could! Jeremy, Melissa and Krystal, thank you so much for your concern and exceptional response time to our needs. You don't know how much it means to our family that you are now available through AHS!!!
AC quit working on Easter. Thankfully, I found ACE on Google and Jake was here a few hours later. He was friendly, professional, fixed the problem quickly, honest and didn’t try to sell us a new system or extras we didn’t need. So thankful for the phenomenal service and will definitely be using these guys as my go-to HVAC provider!
I recently had my 6 month AC Maintenace> Eduins was my service technician. Ace is very lucky to have him as their employee. He was professional, knowledgeable, polite, and extremely efficient! I will be asking for him to do my service again.
Drip pan was full and shut off AC. Came out and cleaned and everything. AC working like a champ
We have worked with ACE for many years and they installed a new unit for us about one year ago. The appointment today was a maintenance visit. The young man who completed that task today was Eduins Cremadellys. He arrived well within the appointment window schedule and very efficiently set to the task. In addition to his admirable work ethic, Eduin was helpful explaining things to me and was very polite and friendly.
AHS warranty, quick reaponse. AHS has some weird policies, but ACE stepped up and helped us. The staff at the office and Jake were AWESOME. Great communication and VERY knowledgeable.
Edwin explain all our AC unit issues, he’s very professional and he fixed my ac problem in less than 48 hrs, I highly recommend this company.
Had an issue with our A/C not turning on/connecting with thermostat. Jeremy from ACE heating and cooling was very responsive, knowledgeable and courteous. He was able to address the issue promptly. The issues were resolved < 18hrs. Great to be able to work with Jeremy and ACE heating and cooling. Highly recommended.
Visited my elderly aunt in Seffner mid-June and her a/c wasn’t working, just blowing hot air. I called early that morning and had a tech scheduled for later that morning. Jake was great, professional, thoroughly checked out the outside & inside unit and determined the issue. An easy fix & working well! Highly recommend.
I had Ace come out and replace a blower motor on a Saturday, i was there with the technician, we inspected the blower wheel and it was in good condition, so he put it on a new blower motor and installed it. I could have done this myself but i had been out of state and wouldn't be able to go buy the 128.00 blower motor till Monday, so i paid them 800.00 to install the new one on Saturday cause i had to leave town again. Two weeks later the blower motor was making a noise, so i called them to go back and look at it. The lady from the office called me and said the blower wheel was loose and needed to be replaced, to which i replied, your tech just put it in two weeks ago, tell him to tighten it up better. Then a few days later another lady called me and again tried to tell me i needed a new blower wheel, and that i would have to pay for it because it was a different component than the motor that they already replaced. Again i had to explain to the lady that the tech took this blower wheel off the old motor and installed it on the new motor. If he did not tighten it properly or adjust it to sit in the center of the blower housing, that is not something i should pay to resolve, and surly doesn't justify having to replace the blower wheel. The tech finally came back out and adjusted or tightened the blower wheel, and after a month or so its still working good. This just goes to show that this company is less than diligent in their business practices, and or outright fraudulent. Would not recommend them to anyone
Called them by mistake, instead of my regular ac company. Couldn't be happier with ACE! I'll make sure I call them the next time! The tech, Logan was awesome also 👌👌👌
Awesome as always, from the first call to the office through the final repair. Ace always is cheery, helpful and honest. They also know how to properly manage a home warranty claim to minimize your discomfort during the process! Will continue my 12 year run with ACE servicing my systems.
