Called for 24hr HVAC service. Unit stopped working out of nowhere and house started to heat up. Quick phone response and sent a technician out within 2hrs. All great at that point but that is where it stopped. Tech Joseph Combs arrived and I described the issue to him. He got in the attic and described how things were backwards and the float switch was wrong and he needed to call his boss. He stepped outside and made a call to ask for advice. Short time later he went back into the attic to let me know the unit had no power and there was nothing he could do. Kept saying he’s not an electrician and didn’t know how to work on anything electrical. Didn’t want to burn my house down. He disconnected my outside disconnect and told me he would leave it off because he didn’t want to burn up my outside unit. Demanded that I pay $190 service fee for no help no repair and nobody else could come out and help me that night. He told me he diagnosed the problem but what did he diagnose? He didn’t truly know what was the issue or how to fix it. Told me he would have the dispatcher get back in contact with me about sending and electrician out to see if they could help. I never received another phone call. $190 for a technician to tell me nothing he could do. And to add he was unprofessional and even apologized for his attitude. I would not recommend this company if this is how they run their business. I sure would like my money back to be able to use on someone who knew how to help me.
