I was looking for a HERS rater on the CalCerts website... and I'm glad I found Daniel! He was knowledgeable about all the energy rules and procedures, breaking everything down into easy-to-understand concepts. I would highly recommend him for any new project!
I had to get my A/C and heating unit tested for my city permits to be signed off. Daniel respond quickly and came out to test my system. He has great attention to detail and finished the job in less than 30 mins. He also did all the paperwork for the Hers testing and submitted it to my city and the state. Thanks Daniel for all you help!

Daniel was able to help me out with hers testing on my new HVAC system. He was able to verify duct leakage airflow and refrigerant charge were up to code. AER scheduled quickly and got me my certs asap to get my permit closed out with city. Would recommend to anyone in need of this service.
I have used Daniel for years for all my HERS testing and he is awesome! I literally always forget that it’s something I need to do before my final mechanical inspection and he always rushes out and helps me out in a pinch.

Daniel came out in a pinch and helped us with some HERS ratings required to pass final inspection with the City of Huntington Beach. He was knowledgeable with current code and very fair with his pricing. I will use him on all my projects moving forward.
When I got my A/C-Heating unit installed, I wanted it HERS compliant. Daniel was able to make my new A/C pass by working along side my A/C installer and communicating with them on what needs to be done completely. Daniel has come back to retest without extra charges. The new system is running great. The energy test was something I was unfamiliar with. I appreciated Daniel's patience in explaining the basics of the test.
