We have been using Ken from AC Repair DC for a long time now. Recently had a HVAC unit fixed Very efficient & knowledgeable guy..
This guy is big drama not professional. Never going to recommend. Stay away from this company promise u to show up once show up never provide the service just charging u. I’m pretty sure this guy don’t have any experience
Great service!! I called them last minute on a Saturday morning when our heat had stopped working, on one of the coldest days in DC, and they sent someone out that afternoon. Raja was our technician and he was so friendly and kept me updated and explained everything very well, and of course solved the problem. Will definitely come back to them if I have any other issues at our house. Highly recommend!!!
I email this company Monday night and called Tuesday (early morning) for service. They called and set an appt for Wed 3-6. Due to the storms today, they canceled without notification. I understand they couldn't work in the storms; however, the forecast has indicated this for almost two weeks. Furthermore, when I called today at 1:57, 5:01, and 5:37....they still were "coming". I am beyond furious and disappointed.
I had a leak in my basement where I am hosting Airbnb’s. The AC pan cracked and had water everywhere. Called in on a Sunday and got a same day evaluation of what was wrong and part delivered overnight. They came and fixed as soon as the part came to ensure my guest were not walking in water! Cleaned up after themselves and were very well spoken and professional. Had masks and took great care of my property. I would hands down recommend them to anyone who has an AC repair need
I was very satisfied with this company. The gentleman who helped fix my A/C system came to my house in around an hour, diagnosed and fixed wiring, and helped me install a new thermostat. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and was a pleasure to talk to. I would highly recommend them for any of your HVAC needs.
A funny noise was coming from my HVAC. Called AC Repair DC. Came over in the window of time they provided and identified the problem. Very professional and easy to talk with.
Ken was professional, kind and considerate. I was missed the day before but he made sure to check on me today if I still needed service and he showed up when I needed service the most. I had made calls to two other companies for the last week and despite saying they would come, no one showed up. I was about to lose faith in AC technicians. Thanks you for the great customer service and honesty. These things differentiate your and gives you an edge btn your business and Joe's business around the corner. Keep it up.
This company is amazing! Very flexible with last minute appointment & Very clean. ( Mask ,gloves, etc....) Which I was extremely concerned about due to COVID-19. They also warranty all all repair and products Prices are very responsible. I highly recommend this company
AC Repair is the only company I trust for my high end AC units. As a female, I’m always worried about repair technicians cheating during service appts. by misdiagnosing problem or overcharging me for parts and services. Unlike others I’ve experienced, AC Repair techs are straight shooters. Khalid specifically is awesome! He’s honest, reliable, fast, and prices are far better than others in the area.

I appreciate the fact that the technician Ken was able to come to our commercial building on short notice. His diagnostics were accurate and he was able to fix our air conditioner on the same day. Great service and fair servic . I would use him again.
I can't give a response on the quality of their work because despite 2 last minute rescheduled appointments on their part--no one ever showed up to my home. When I called them, their explanation was bogus at best. The driver called when he was 45 minutes away and since I didn't pick up they bothered not to come--I have 1 missed call and could not pick up because I was conducting a meeting (I work from home). I explained well I'm home and hubby is home and if someone knocked on my door as scheduled then I wouldn't be sitting in HVAC limbo. Called Spartan Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning and while the fee is a little more- ($118 vs $80) I'm willing to pay for quality customer service and responsiveness.
AC Repair DC is extremely quick, professional and reasonably priced! My AC went out back in April and I had been going back and forth with American Home Shield for 2 months with no progress. I called AC Repair DC to schedule an appointment Tuesday and my AC unit was installed within the week. Ken and his team were a pleasure to deal with and rescued me from the heat. The pricing was reasonable and Ken kept me updated throughout the entire process. This is the best company I've dealt with and will be using them in the future.
The service fee was $79.95. The guy came over on Memorial Day to fix my air conditioner, he came over early and then it was just a loose connection with my unit and a filter change... quick fast and better than American Home Shield . Worth it to be in A/C again...
I've rated AC Repair DC one (1) star due to extremely poor communication and service. My AC stopped working weeks ago which is what led my boyfriend to call AC Repair DC in the first place. They claimed we needed a new part which they would order from the manufacturer since our AC unit is outdated. We called them a few days later and they told us the part should be received within another day or two. This was right before the July 4th holiday so it's understood that the part may have been delayed but still no communication from AC Repair DC stating so. Two days after the holiday my boyfriend calls again and they give him the same story. Only this time he complains about the lack of communication in which AC Repair immediately schedules a follow up for July 10th between 4-7pm. No one ever showed up and no one ever called. My boyfriend and I have lived in our home with no AC through a heat wave and have spent nights at homes of family members and hotels to avoid the heat. Not once throughout our interaction with AC Repair DC did they call to provide an update. I will never use their services again and will advise friends not to as well.
Ken did a great job. He assessed my AC unit , ordered the part and returned and repaired it. The price was also fair.
Had work done on my ac. He done a great job was very helpful, patients and respectful. I'm cooking now. Yeah!!!
As luck would have it, our AC quit working on the hottest day of the year! Given that it was a Sunday, we were worried that we couldn’t get someone and worse, get it fixed. We called first thing in the morning, immediately received a call back and our tech, Ken, was out to see us within a few hours. He not only fixed our AC (needed a replacement part) but also instructed us on how to better care for our unit. His workmanship, demeanor and guidance were top notch and much appreciated. We strongly AC Repair DC if you have similar needs.
