Don’t waste your time! These guys are clowns!
Our furnace wasn't working on a weekend so I called Absolute Comfort since they are open 24 hours. The receptionist asked if they installed our equipment and told them no, then she said they are not accepting new clients. I asked if they really wouldn't come help with a broken furnace and the receptionist confirmed that, saying they would not accept new clients.
Called at 7 AM to try and get a tech to look at our AC, the lady told me that someone would call me shortly. I called again at 9:30 and was told the same thing. I finally called a different company and they were able to come and fix my problem before I ever heard anything from Absolute Comfort. (Still waiting)
Absolute Comfort have absolute integrity. Larry and Rusty are competent and I guarantee you they will save you money in comparison to the big chain companies.
I love these guys. Last year they installed a new air conditioner in my home. They are really great guys and they are personable and always fair with me. Larry is a great guy who reminds me of they type of people I did business with in years past who are almost impossible to find now. Keep up the good work!
Larry and Rusty were great to work with. Calls were returned promptly, he worked me into his schedule-coming on Saturday and then first thing Monday morning. Larry is a capable teacher answering questions I had about sizing our new system, rebates, etc. They also did a careful heat load calculation and found that our old unit was oversized for our home which saved us money on a new smaller unit - and lower operating costs in the future. Overall I was very pleased and will call them again in the future.
I called around 7pm on a Friday. I was told that a technician would contact me soon. About 45 minutes later I received a text from an unknown number saying "do not have anyone available tonight". I called Absolute Comfort back to confirm that the text was from them, since the person who sent the text didn't identify themselves as being with Absolute Comfort. The receptionist was unprofessional and unapologetic. I understand that they may have been busy with no technicians available, but that could have been communicated nicely and professionally.
Larry and his company were so helpful. I had immediate service, and they promptly took care of all of my needs. He was happy to help me out on a Saturday, too, which is normally a no service day for most companies. He and his team explained what was happening simply, but knowledgeably so I knew the problem and solution for my furnace. He was fast, friendly, and efficient - and exceptionally better than other "big name" places in the area (who hardly even return a service call!) All in all I had a wonderful experience using Absolute Comfort; I almost secretly wish my furnace would break again just so I could give them a call!
Absolute Comfort is quick, courteous, and competent. They have always been dependable and professional. Five stars for sure!
I called Absolute Comfort for the first time today and asked them to drop everything to take care of a client's furnace repair. They were happy to help and even drove to Cedar Rapids for the part I said was needed. The repair was started by 1:30 p.m. that same day! They were even good natured when the repair part I said was needed - was not. They found the issue and did a less expensive repair. I do not look forward to HVAC issues, but I am happy that Absolute Comfort will be there to help. Thank you again for today!!
