My A/C stopped working on Friday, Called ABS and made appointment, for approx 1-1/2 hrs from my call, Technician was was a no show. They stated I would be first appointment in the morning between 8-10, I call at 9:45 to confirm they were coming, scheduler did know where about of Technician. Technician call at 9:59 am, I cancelled because now I didn't trust there service.
Outrageously pricey, $320 to replace a capacitor,. Also, the technician tried to sell me a new unit (mine is only 4 Yrs old) from the moment he walked into my house. I will never use them again.
His phone rang every three minutes. They came and didn't have the right parts. Basically, the job took them three times as long as it should of. Disappointed, but hey, at least they got it done one day after they inspected and found the problem. My advice, tell them to shut off the phones and make sure they have the right stuff. Especially if you have something to do.
Came home to no air conditioning on Saturday. Called ABS. Technician arrived 45 minutes later. Air was working 30 minutes after that. Can't say "thank you" enough. My husband and I were so not looking forward to not having air conditioning for the rest of the weekend. We tried three other companies.... J. Chiodi
