One of their office people used my credit card that I had on file with Able and charged over $1,000 with it. I spoke to the owner and he apologized but never refunded me and then stopped returning my calls and emails. Awful business procedures, do not trust them!
I was sent to them by my home warranty on a Thursday morning. They scheduled me for a morning service on Saturday, but they never showed nor called. I finally got ahold of someone around 1:30 and received a call back around 2:30. They were very apologetic and promised me I would be the first customer on Sunday between 9:30 and 10 AM. Once again, no call, no show. I tried calling every half hour, but no one answers their phone and finally gave up at 2 PM. On Monday morning, their office is supposed to open at 9 AM, but again, no one is answering their phones. Useless company - stay away from them.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Terrible work and completely unresponsive - out thousands of dollars because of it! We were connected through our joke of a homeowner's warranty - last year, they installed a brand-new AC system. The AC system hasn't turned on this year - I tried to get Able to take a look through multiple emails and phone calls over the past week with no response. Ultra, a rival company, came out today - there is a coolant leak that could have been prevented by a 10-minute test the Able person apparently didn't do. So now I'm looking at paying $2,000 more to get functional AC. Absolute rip-off by Able. Never, ever, ever use these people.
Never responded to two email requests for furnace inspection.
Very good work. This guy is one of the best. We have been friends for a long time. And we both started owher businesses at the same time. We are both small businesses. But mighty in quality and knowledge. Jeff has the formal training with years of college and in the field. And i have the old school hands on for 30 years. We quite often do large scale jobs together. And constantly confer in one another. Jeff is a very kind and caring person who always does his absolute best for the customer. What a great company to be involved with. And good friend. You can't always please everyone. But if you have the right attitude and are kind. You can count on Jeff being exactly the same. ABLE AIR HEATING AND COOLING. YOU DEFINITELY HAVE MY RESPECT. My wife set up an appointment to have them come out and look at our HVAC system today. She told them each time that no one would be home before 3 pm, and they decided to show up at 2:47, leave a note, and move on. When I called him, he lied about it to me and said that he was told her fiance was supposed to be home. Once I stated that I was her wife, he declined to reschedule our service.
Dealing with drivers who spead down roads while looking at their phones. I have had several close calls with their company vehicles as a pedestrian. Unsafe, distracted drivers, who carelessly fly down the road.
Technician was extremely PROFESSIONAL in his mannerism and attitude. He called 30 minutes before arriving to ensure that I was available. Performed all repairs in a fast manner and kept me informed about everything that he was doing. I HIGHLY recommend this company for all your heating and cooling needs. You won't be disappointed.
I have had problems with my AC not keeping the house cool on warm afternoons. One company talked me into a new unit, but that didn’t correct the problem. I set up a service appointment and the service technician showed up on time. He talked me through what he discovered, made the CORRECT adjustments and my home temperature stays exactly where it is set. He checked all vents to make sure lines were clear and blowing out correctly. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks!!
Our service was prompt and well done. The blower has had a hard time starting lately and ended up needing to be replaced. When a minor issue arose after the replacement they came right back first thing in the morning and corrected it. The original service was at the end of day the day before and I didn't notice the issue until late in the evening; and of course there was no additional charge. They were polite, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions about the repair. The price was fair as well. Will definitely use them again.

Never called back after I called several times to report damages from a leak that their installers caused.
So...my house got really hot the other day, sweat was dripping off all our brows....you may even say the animals were sweating because of the excessive temps outside only making inside unbearable. So...I was referred to able air heating and cooling by a friend. The guy that came was Jeff...He was able to diagnose the problem very fast. We worked out all the details and he was actually able to fix it that day. I also love that able air has financing available....otherwise i would be still dying of heat exhaustion. THANKS ABLE AIR...i will be keeping you as a contact for ever.
Jeff was able to quickly diagnosis the situation and come up with a cost effective solution. He also took out the time to explain what he was doing along with suggestions to improve HVAC system. Good to know that they also have financing available for more costly repairs. I will definitely be scheduling with them in the future.
