Thankful that these guys got the job done SO fast as we prepared to move in to our new house!
My furnace wasn’t working properly so I contacted my home owners insurance who then contracted AAC to come take a look which cost me a $75 deductible. The technician, Oscar, came and checked out the furnace in the attic. I shared with him that I did some troubleshooting of my own and that I believed it was the blower motor. After about 20 mins he came back downstairs and said it was in fact my blower motor. However, my blower motor damaged my fan when it blew out and that my duct work was undersized causing my furnace from 2006 to finally take a dump. I didn’t say much to this since I was sure my insurance would cover it. After my insurance reviewed the claim, because Oscar said it was due to ducting being undersized the repairs weren’t considered normal wear and tear and it was the installers mistake. So being that I have a mechanical background I decided to take a look at what he was talking about. I removed my blower compartment and inspected my fan which was perfectly fine and had no damage what’s so ever. I then had my friend who works in HVAC check out my duct work and they said it was sufficient. I went to an appliance store to get a new motor (kind for kind) along with a capacitor since that was also bad. Ended up spending about 100 in parts. I installed the new motor and everything is working just fine. I was only going through my insurance because…why not? I’m paying for it, so might as well get some use out of it. But it’s technicians like Oscar who try and take advantage of customers who they THINK do not know any better and will not question anything. I attached the work order Oscar wrote, along with a picture of my fan which is perfectly fine. I tried to attach a video to show better proof but it only allows photos. I hope AAC’s other technicians are honest, unlike Oscar.
Angel was friendly and professional, he asked me questions, explained what was needed, took pictures as he worked to show me. I am very happy with his service and repair work, and know that I will use his service again. He was recommended by a friend and is the first A/C person after I contacted two other companies to not cancel and show up on time. Excellent work ethic.
Needed a new Air conditioner unit , after shopping around for a quote ,Angel gave me the lowest , he finished the work in less time than he promised and I can't be happier. Thank you Angel.
