Since November 2022 1. Lynn came to our home as an IN-NETWORK CONTRACTOR (OLD REPUBLIC HOME WARRANTY) about my refrigerator and deep freezer. 2. Months went by as he made 3 trips back and forth to my home stating that OLD REPUBLIC WOULD NOT GIVE HIM A STRAIGHT ANSWER ON REPAIRS? 3. SO I CALLED THEM MYSELF AND THEY SAID THIS: "MA'AM WE DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS BROKEN BECAUSE LYNN (NEVER GAVE US A WORK ORDER REPORT?) 4. I had to use an OUTSIDE CONTRACTOR THAT COST ME ($890) and will be reimbursed BY SORRY "OLD REPUBLIC" (I DO NOT RECOMMEND "OLD REPUBLIC"....AND DEFINATELY NOT LYNN !) HE LIED AND STRUNG ME ALONG FOR 4 STRAIGHT MONTHS !....BOTH HE AND "OLD REPUBLIC HOME WARRANTY" ARE SORRY AS 2 LEFT SHOES !!! Sincerely Suzanne Coleman-Cunningham

We have been experiencing trouble with our HVAC system since purchasing our house a year and a half ago. Acclaimed Home Warranty sent out A1 Appliance to troubleshoot and repair. They have made three separate trips and have yet to repair the system. I have been limping the system through due to aggravation with the warranty company and A1. Two nights ago our system shut down and I could not get it to reset. I called Lynn with A1 and let him know our system was acting up and reminded him that the repair was never completed and we are now without heat. He stated that he would call the home warranty company to check on the status of the parts. I did not hear back from him that day, I called him the next morning, and he stated that he did not make any money on the job so he was not interested in putting any further effort into solving the problem and that if I wanted to check on the status of the repair I could call Acclaimed myself. I have contacted Acclaimed Home Warranty and notified them of the response from the assigned contractor and requested a new contractor to solve the issue. *Edited to respond to owner* Let me address your response one claim at a time. Your records seem to only benefit your online reputation and not the truth. 1. There is no "previous" AC unit. The unit in place is the same unit that the failure to repair occurred on. I am not sure where you received this false information. 2. The diagnostic was performed in July, not over a year ago, since then I have been resetting the system each time it malfunctioned until now, when there was a complete failure due to the part that was not replaced by A1. 3. The part that A1 failed to replace was the motherboard which controls the system on both the cooling and heating sides. So yes, this failure on A1 to replace the motherboard very much has something to do with the heating issue. 4. I have had my AC system go out on me 3 times in less than 2 years. The first time my warranty company tried to send someone, they just didn't even show up. Eventually I get someone over and they test for leaks and determine it's the compressor. He fills the system up, patches what he thinks is the leak, and goes on his merry way. The second time, I fought with the warranty company a lot (after taking a day off work to get this taken care of) and eventually they let me pick my own company. I had heard good things about A1. I had them come out to check what was going on, and despite my specific requests to check the coil, they insisted it was the compressor that had the leak. They even went so far as to replace the whole compressor and called it a day. Lo and behold, less than a year later during a heat wave, my AC goes out again. Rest assured, I'm never calling A1 again. They couldn't be bothered to investigate this issue properly after I specifically told them that it had to have been the coil, and now I had to send my fiancée away while she has a migraine because the AC is leaking coolant again. Worst experience I've ever had in my life.

I've had my HVAC repaired multiple times this year. This was the third company I've worked with. BY FAR THE BEST! Amazing fast response time and solved the problem faster, better, and more thoroughly than either of the other companies. Lynn was Amazing. I highly recommend him. He went above and beyond to fix our HVAC the same day I called and it runs better than when I purchased this house one year ago.

I have lived in Bryan for many years, and have always trusted A1 with all my appliance, A/C, and heating needs. Lynn has always been professional and courteous in all situations! On more than one occasion, my A/C has gone out in the middle of summer. Lynn has spent time after normal business hours to make sure that my family wasn’t left in the Texas heat!!
