Had issues with the A/C he installed, never answered my calls. I ended up calling J&R heating in Tea. DO NOT USE SCOTT FOR ANYTHING!!! He's a WEIRDO!
Scott installed my heater and air conditioner 2 1/2 years ago. Last summer the ac didn’t work, had a leak, which he did fix. But this year it again is not working, I have left 5 voicemails for him, he won’t call back. I contacted the city because i got this done through community development program. They also tried multiple times to call him and he won’t call back. Horrible customer service!!! Now I’m paying someone else to fix what I can only assume was shoddy workmanship because there isn’t anything wrong with the ac itself!
Our AC and furnace went out right before a major heat wave. We have 2 children (1 and 5) in the home, so a lack of air conditioning can be critical for child safety. I called A&R to see if they could make it out ASAP for a quote. They came out same day even though they were booked full! The manager is incredible. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and wanted to make sure that we had the best units that would work for our home. He informed us of our options and told us exactly what they would need to do. The prices are VERY competitive. We were able to get top of the line, energy efficient units for much, much less than what other companies were asking. He even worked with us, very effectively and efficiently, to go through the Sioux Falls Furnace replacement program which helped with costs. He also directed us on getting a fast rebate from MidAmerican Energy for replacing the furnace. He made sure that they came out NEXT DAY to replace both of our units because we have kids in our home even though they were already booked solid! They made it work so that we could be comfortable! Every other company gave us a nearly 2 week wait period. Jeff was our HVAC technician. He was wonderful to have come in and work in our home! Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable! He managed to get our units installed by himself within two-days. He made sure to inform me of the progress, how the units function and let me know what to do if something seemed to be out of sorts. He cleaned up the work areas really well when finished. Their parts and labor warranty as well as the unit warranty are fantastic. They both encouraged us to call anytime, day or night if we had any problems or questions with the units. They also encouraged us to call within 1 year to have them come out and do a free of charge inspection to make sure everything is functioning properly. I called A & R Heating & A/C Inc. and had a wonderful experience and knew right away that they were the ones for the job. The staff at A & R were all very kind respectful, prompt, professional and took time to explain, show and go through everything that they would be doing and installing to make that I knew how to run it all. My experience was a very pleasurable one and i really enjoyed working with Scott and his staff and will highly recommend them to everyone. Scott was great. Very quick and had our heat back in no time. I was very pleased with his customer service. If anything goes wrong I will be calling him again and recommending him to friends and family.
