Called Home Serve (Dominion Energy sewer line repair insurance) and had been assigned another company who wouldn't be out for 3 days for a blocked sewer. Called back and got A Mass Plumbing. Still working at 730pm with a smile able to unclog the underground sewer all covered under the insurance. About an hour of time to do what the RotoRooter said couldn't be done the night before after being here for 2 hours! Highly recommend this company.
Not a GENUINE plumber & contractor! We had a bathroom remodel that went terribly wrong and caused some major, MAJOR, water damage to our ceiling, floors, and walls. Of course, we’re always looking to support our local small business companies in the area! So that’s what we did! Regrettably, we found James and placed our trust in his abilities. He turned out to be a jack-legged, scam artist, full of 💩💩 man who made empty promises that he couldn't fulfill! He committed to a start date to begin the repairs and that date came and went! He then proceeded to give us 4 different start dates and we got the run around each time. Once we got tired of the antics we pressed him for the information and then ✨magically✨ something popped up and he quit the job all together through text message. We wasted so much time, money, and patience with this man all for nothing! Think twice before using!
Grossly negligent. Terrible service and then disappeared with money before completing contracted services. Watch out for this scammer!

I contacted A-Mass because I had a leak in my ceiling. I was able to schedule an appointment right away for a diagnosis. When technician James came to observe the issue i was having, he was very professional, patient and honest about the issue I was having. I appreciate the top service!
Very professional, responsive, on time, empathetic, and proficient. James came right in with a very ready-to-work attitude and did not stop until the issue was resolved. Explained the details of what was going on with my heating unit and any question that I may have had, he answered in terms that I could easily understand. I will be using the services again in the future and will also happily refer them to others.
James provided an impeccable level of service. He was skilled, professional, efficient, thorough, and affordable. Initially, I contacted A-Mass due to a plumbing issue where my toilet stopped working. I was provided a next-day appointment where James showed up and solved the issue almost instantly. Later, he followed-up to make sure that everything was working properly and that there were no further issues. Everything was fine and the toilet is still working properly. However, a couple of months later, my downstairs heating unit stopped working; right before a major snowstorm. Needless to say, I contacted James, who came out the same day. He inspected the unit, indentified the probable cause, and came up with a plan of action. After procuring the necessary part, James returned and heat downstairs was restored. He also fixed the wax ring on another toilet. Again, he followed-up to make sure everything was working properly. Not only does James provide efficient and quality service, he takes the time to explain what caused the issue, preventive measures to take to avoid the issue from recurring, and provides honest feedback that allows for proper planning and future expectations regarding repairs/renovations. I would definitely recommend A-Mass, Inc., and intend to use them in the future.
Called A-Mass to repair HVAC outdoor unit’s loud screeching noise. James arrived at my home that same day. He kept me informed on the work he was doing and that he would need to return with a new part. Upon his return, he repaired the unit which is now working great, and is quieter than it has ever been!
James was super great when it came to being available last minute on a Sunday to fix the clog we had in our main sewer drain pipe. He was professional, friendly and I felt as though I got a good price for the work he did. I would highly recommend him to anyone in search of a plumber and plan on using him for any future needs in my household. Wonderful experience!
A- mass did a great job fixing my heat. Ive done business with them before part of the reason im a returning customer but i would definitely recommend them to do more work in the future.

Faucet was not installed because employee did not honor my appointment. Came earlier in the morning not at the time that was confirmed the day before. Would not wear the appropriate face covering, and when offered a new disposable surgical mask he refused and walked off the job. A mask serves zero purpose if your nose and mouth are not covered. Not only would he follow the protocols set by the CDC, I discovered 3 hours later that he left my water turned off and I am handicapped and can’t get down far back enough to turn it on myself. When I called to tell him he left my water off, he hung up on me. When I called management to tell them what happened they seemed disinterested at best. When I asked the employee for the number of his company, he refused to give it to me. I wasted my whole day and lost an afternoon appointment on the faucet that was never installed. I do not wish for this plumber or anyone else at that company to do anything for me or come to my home ever again. Total unprofessionalism is all that was exhibited today. I truly have never had an argument with someone coming to my home to perform a service (or not ) that I gave already paid for..
Contracted through Lowe’s to replace my kitchen faucet. James called ahead to confirm my appointment time. They showed up within the window they provided. James and his crew were fast, thorough, and very professional. Highly recommended if you need plumbing services.

A-Mass came out and repaired two toilets for me. Very professional service. Mr. Newsome was fast, courteous, polite, and very neat. I was really impressed with the way he cleaned up everything after the repairs were completed. I recommend that you make A-Mass your first call.
AC went out in the house last night, decided to give A-Mass a call. They answered the phone at 1 AM, and said they would be out in the morning around 8 AM. James from A-Mass arrived right on time and fixed the AC with no issues. James was professional and very courteous. Recommend using A-Mass.

Had to take A-Mass to court after paying to have AC serviced. After the fact, found central air doesn't need Freon unless the system has a leak. Now who in there right mind would spend $686 to service a system without first fixing the leak. I had to pay another company$261 to fix what turned out to be a bad capacitor. The judge did rule in A-Mass favor, stating that he believed my AC had two separate problems, and he believed that A-mass did charge my AC with 7.5lbs of Freon.
I called James due to a leak under my toilet! I told him that I make a new toilet. He responded promptly, earlier that I expected which was Excellent. He was able to repair the toilet and he also cleared the entire line. He was very professional, affordable, and I would recommend him! Will use again.
