Amazing customer service, scheduled the work for within a week of signing the work order, thousands of dollars less than the other quotes I received. They installed new furnace, AC unit, and thermostat at my home. They got the job done in one day and hauled the old unit away. They showed me how to replace filters to maintain it, and told me which filters are best. Very friendly and courteous workers, they covered all areas with protective cloth where they'd be walking back and forth, so no footprints at all from their work outside. I recommend them.

My entire HVAC died in the middle of the horrible storms of New Year’s 2023. Mike was able to get a new system ordered and installed in a very reasonable time frame, even with all of the power outages and troubles with the storms. His technician was professional, on time and very pleasant. Price and timing were better than anyone in town. Highly recommend.

We were preparing our home for sale when our HVAC from 1989 finally failed. The initial diagnosis from a tech said it would cost just as much to repair the existing unit versus installing a new one. The tech mentioned a new unit would be in upwards of $10k-16k for our home (1750sqft). In any case, I called around without much success until I reached Mike and AK Air Systems. He was originally referred to us by a friend and I’m glad we contacted him. He is a veteran and small business owner, but more importantly Mike was responsive and attentive to our needs. We didn’t want or need anything fancy because we were going to be moving soon and he took that into consideration. I was able to communicate back and forth by phone and text without any issues. He was also able to provide a quote by phone after I sent him photos of our existing unit and furnace. His quote was competitive versus our original estimate, so I immediately booked home for a replacement install. I contacted him on Monday, and he was out at our house on Wednesday the same week! He and Ronny finished the install by the evening, and we couldn’t be more pleased. I highly recommend Mike and AK Air Systems.

I do not normally use craigslist to find services, but i am very glad that i did. I reached out looking for a new package unit and needed some customization to make it work. Mike (owner) responded quickly and was able to give a an estimate a few days following. The price was thousands less than i have been quoted by other companies! I was very impressed. I have recently purchased another home out of town and was in between moving when there were inspections and certifications. I trusted Mike with access to my home and everything was handled without me even being in town. Since i purchased the home the AC unit was very very old, costom fabrication needed to be done and also running a new vent to an additional room that was never properly installed. Everything was done above and beyond expectations. I have since been back to the house doing more work and the house has never been as cool and comfortable as it is now. Unfortunately i did not call A K Air Systems earlier, my family and I have had some long hot summers in the house but i am excited for a future buyer as i know heating or cooling will be the last thing to worry about. Mike is the only person who made sense to me, unlike the big guys with the commissioned salesmen he didn't try to sell me equipment that I didn't need. My furnace was fine, he replaced only the defective air conditioning system with a new unit. He saved me anywhere from 7,000 to 17,000 thousand dollars and did all the work himself. I am very pleased and would recommend him to friends and family. Also I met his wife and daughter, great family man and I will have him back for future work.
