Now, we have an excellent HVAC repair and service company in San Diego that we can highly recommend and refer to in the future. A+ Heating and Cooling, Inc. in San Marcos is a reliable and customer-service oriented company and truly deserves all the 5* ratings in Yelp. Earlier this week, our gas furnaces that are about 20 years old made a loud noise (or a boom) when being started with multiple sparks from the pilot and some ignition delay. After some online reading about the situation, it appeared that the cause maybe a furnace delayed ignition problem that required to be looked at by a HVAC technician. I called AHS and fortunately A+ Heating and Cooling was one of their HVAC contractors. Knowing this company had a 4.5* rating on Yelp, I gladly chose them and I chose wisely. I called the company and talked to Chris, who was extremely nice and friendly and scheduled a technician for the next day. Next day, Oleg showed up exactly at the appointment time and started the job. He was also very nice and friendly. Oleg meticulously and patiently performed multiple tests and diagnosed that the reason for the delayed and loud ignition of the furnace was due to too much gas coming to the pilot. He lowered/adjusted the gas input to the pilot and tested the furnace start multiple times to ensure the issue had been resolved. This was the problem for both furnaces located in the attic and in the garage. Now, both furnaces work nicely without a very loud start. Oleg was extremely knowledgeable, professional and also explained the issue simply and clearly to me with some useful tips on furnaces. Thank you very much Oleg for an excellent job you did for us this week. Also, thanks to Chris and to A+ Heating and Cooling, Inc. for a timely and wonderful service. Extremely satisfied with the furnace service, highly recommend the company, and will refer to them in the future.

Very good service and workmanship. Only 4 stars because they forgot to get final sign-off from inspector. I know that sounds like a big deal, but in this case the install was very straightforward so the sign-off was mainly a formality to officially close out the permit.
Had A+ Heating and Cooling out to my house last week to give me an estimate on a new A/C. Francois from A+ came was very knowledgeable. He sat down with us and came up with the solution that worked best for our family. He took his time an answered every question that we had. Their pricing was also very fair in comparison to the other quotes I received.

Thank you A+ Heating and Cooling! Your crew worked hard to see to our needs during some of the worst heat of the year. They worked from early morning through late in the day without a break for lunch. The attic of our home must of easily been over a 120 degrees but they did not shrink from the challenge. I know from first experience with over 20 years of experience in the HVAC trades how tough my home AC replacement job was and that is why I choose this company to do my work. Thank you A+ Heating and Cooling obviously the name of the company fits them perfectly.

two other AC companies offered to throw out my old Ac and replace it at a very expensive cost. Your company examined my AC and found a simple wire that had been severed while trimming the bushes. I took him about a half hour and it has been running beautifully ever since. And you saved me thousands of dollars. Yes I have already told this story many times. and I would recommend your company without hesitation. Thanks!
While my air is still not working the technicians have been diligently working to repair it.

Just had a new A/C and furnace installed by A+ Heating and Cooling through the HERO Program. Richard at A+ was our Project Manager and was great. He was very thorough and did a job walk prior to the installation to make sure everything went smooth on the installation date. Everything works great and the process was very smooth. Thank you to Richard and the A+ team. Will definitely use again in the future.

A+ indeed! i called these guys during the heat spell when we turned on our AC and to our surprise it didn't turn on at all. i have 2 little boys so that was a concern. A+ sent out a tech and they showed up on time! he looked at our a/c, went to his truck and about a half hour later it started working again. It has not stopped working since so i absolutely recommend these guys! A+
I was linked to A+ HVAC by First American Home Warranty two weeks ago. I finally received a call indicating A+ was too busy to service my heater until the end of next week. I have placed over 10 return call to schedule service - but "no return call"; no service! Do not use.
A+ Heating & Cooling came out and did a very thorough job of trouble shooting my HVAC unit. They determined three different problems with it and were able to order the parts and repair everything efficiently. My AC works great now! Would definitely recommend.
