I needed a repair in the middle of a heat wave, and 5 Star was the quickest to make themselves available for an appointment. Ryan even arrived early for the appointment, which was great. I contacted Ryan from Robbins 5 star heating and air, and he and his team were always so punctual, professional, and efficient with incredibly fair prices. He fully fixed my AC/heater system after it was not working for 6 months (my own fault for not calling anyone sooner… luxury of living in LA). After calling, Ryan visited promptly for a $95 diagnostic and quickly determined it was an electrical issue. Without going to too much detail, it required a second visit but we determined it was due to a faulty 30 amp fuse, but Ryan came immediately right back on a second visit and replaced it at no additional cost. He did a full reassessment of my entire AC system, and also determined it was not getting enough power from lack of a common wire… so he gave two options of routing a new common wire (for approximately $200) or a quick “MacGyver fix” of rerouting power from the fan… we chose the latter, for now, which fixed the problem (and again he did this at no additional cost other than the initial $95 diagnostic visit). In all, there is no question that Ryan Robbins and his team will forever be my AC guy. They are truly genuine and there to help you as a customer/homeowner, not to gouge you for money. I would highly recommend Ryan and his company to any of my friends/family for any AC/heating needs.

5 Star was recommended to me by trusted friend and I’m so happy to have connected with them. Ryan and his team are wonderful. 2 years ago he had a simple solution for my air conditioner that was shutting off without any warning. Thought I might need a new air unit. But he gave me a secret tip. Still have the same unit today Then in January of 2022 He actually came out on New Years Day as we didn’t have any heat and it was soooo cold 59 the house He returned the next day with the part and it was fixed.. I was worried that I might need a new heater unit. I was so relieved when it was just a part! So this morning my heater didn’t come on as usual so I called 5 Star again. They responded right away, here in just a few hours. Apparently it was user error! This is a family business that is reliable, honest, knowledgeable and so trustworthy I highly recommend you give a call next time you need help with heating and//or A/C issue Something we need more of these days!
