My husband and I had our central AC unit break two days before a major heat wave was supposed to hit. We had tried to have another company come and conduct the repairs. The company fixed the wrong part, tried to charge us more than what they originally quoted, and put off finishing the job for days. So, we looked for another contractor to come take a look at the problem. We are so lucky we found Theo. When 1Boston Energy says in their profile they are not like the other companies, they are telling the truth! Theo came within a half hour of me reaching out to him. He went above and beyond to make sure we got the part that was needed the same day by calling multiple places to find this. He had the repair completed within a few hours. The price was reasonable and much less than what we had been quoted from the other company. He was so kind, professional, and reliable. He even explained to us why the company that came previously should not have replaced the part that they did first, how this had not fixed the issue, and urged us to contact the previous company for a refund. We will only use 1Boston Energy for any HVAC jobs moving forward and could not recommend them enough. If you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy HVAC repair company look no further!
Theo is an absolute HVAC superstar!! He proactively reached out to me on my Oil furnace repair request and arrived within minutes. Not only he fixed my oil furnace (replacing oil pump and electrodes) and we got hot water back, but he also explained me a lot of oil furnace and made few energy saving changes which my annual tuneup service company failed to do/bother over years. I will be using his services for all my HVAC needs going forward and surely recommend others. Theo surely does his job with passion ensuring best customer service!!!
Highly recommend 1Boston Energy! Theo was incredibly responsive (heard back from him within minutes of sending the inquiry) which was key since I'm 9 months pregnant, and our AC went out on one of the hottest weekends of the year! Pricing was transparent - not the cheapest, but I believe you get what you pay for and I'm happy to pay for great service and someone who truly knows what they're doing. Theo was at my house almost all day because of some downpours that interrupted the outdoor work he was doing, and only charged me for 2 hours of labor which was amazing. He was super-friendly, kept me updated on what he was doing, completely fixed the issue, and gave me lots of tips on how to keep our AC in good shape moving forward. He'll definitely by my go-to for any heating/cooling needs from now on!
Theo helped us out with two projects in the same week. He was super responsive, charges a fair price, really knowledgeable, and pleasure to work with. He took the time to explain what he was doing on both our AC unit and our hot water heater and was very thorough in the job he did, not taking any shortcuts. I had a oil boiler that would not restart and called 1Boston Oil Heat after a google search looking for an boiler specialist. Theo answered right away and was able to come within an hour and get the boiler up and running with some minor repairs! He recommended a tune up and some maintenance and controller upgrade which it needed and gave me peace of mind the boiler would be running smoothly and efficiently. His communication is excellent, and is very professional, friendly and experienced. His pricing was also very reasonable and has convenient online payments. 100% recommend!
