Joey installed a completely new AC system in my house in less than 6 hours! Joey and his assistant worked efficiently and did a professional job. They took great care to ensure my carpeting and wooden floors were protected during their work. New AC is blowing cold air and I'm ready for the summer!
Lawrence and his team have been nothing short of amazing. I've been throwing them curveballs with commercial buildings that have had BAD hvac work previously done, by unlicensed "handymen", and i needed an SOS hvac team ASAP. They were highly responsive, quick to come out and assess , & gave me multiple options. If you want an honest trustworthy company, look no further.

Lawrence did a great job diagnosing and repairing my A/C. His price was very fair and he had my commercial AC unit up and running again on the same day. It was easy to get him scheduled and he gave me advice on how to prevent the problem from happening again. I definitely recommend this company for any HVAV maintenance and repair in San Diego.
I called this company to find out how to replace a heating filter. It is an odd size and I couldn't find it on-line. 1 Call Heating and Air was kind enough to view photos of my system over the phone and then suggest what filter would best fit my heating unit. He saved me time and a service call and I appreciate his honesty. I'll remember that if I need repairs in the future.

10/10!!! This review covers several service calls. Last August, I called Lawrence in an absolute state of panic about my HVAC system not turning on during an awful heat wave, it was over 90 degrees in the house and was intolerable to stay in. His schedule was booked out that week yet, he literally squeezed me in as an "urgent" need first thing the following morning. Turned out my entire unit needed to be replaced and he somehow managed to pick up a new unit and have it installed the same day despite his tight schedule. Lawrence and his team were courteous, respectful and super efficient in taking out the old unit & replacing a new one all in the same day while working late into the evening till completed. Fast forward to February, during one of the most unprecedented winters San Diego has had and one evening my brand new unit was struggling to heat up the house. Called Lawrence in the early evening, to my surprise he answered my call & he had Joey out to my house immediately to diagnose and fix. You can't ask for better service! These guys stand by their work & make sure you get top notch service!
Thanks for coming to save the day for us today! AC unexpectedly stopped working last night and he came to the rescue right away! Thank you soooo much! Highly recommend! Came back today 6 months later on short notice for us to fix our heater which stopped working due to a bad leak in the refrigerant. They fixed it the same day for us. A+ service, very nice people, honest and hard working. You have us as customers for life! Thank you!
Joey came right on time and was very professional. My friend recommended this company to me and I’m so glad they were able to show up so last minute. My heater was blowing out cold air and within minutes Joey was able to fix and the issue and get my heater to work again. Thank you 1CallAc for being so fast and sufficient.

I recently contacted Lawrence from 1 Call Heating and Air and was surprised that Lawrence, who is the owner, was actually scheduling my appointment instead of having me go back and forth with a scheduler or an estimator. Lawrence had his lead installer, Joey, come out and explain my current HVAC components and then provided me options. Joey was incredibly knowledgeable and spent the time to show me my systems and choices. Joey even took out my dirty filter (that I never changed) and put in a fresh filter without a charge. I needed to change the day of installation and Lawrence responded back to me right away (on a Sunday) and accommodated my new scheduling request. On the day of installation, Joey and Lawrence were both working on my job instead of farming the work out to an installer. Joey and Lawrence identified some faulty ductwork and although it had nothing to do with the scope of work in our contract, they showed me the damage and repaired it (again for no extra charge). My wife also asked about an old abandoned thermostat in the house that she wanted to have removed (again, not part of the job) and they gladly removed it and explained the repair. I could go on and on but bottom line the work was done at the highest level. Call 1 Call if you have HVAC needs as these guys are the real deal. They have an incredible work ethic, provide high level customer service, and they do it at a competitive price. I compared pricing with 3 other large companies and A1 is no more expensive than the other companies but provided so much more. A heartfelt appreciation to Lawrence and Joey for taking such good care of me and for going above and beyond.
We had 1 Call Heating & Air add some new ducting and vents to our current system to increase airflow to our house. Joey came and gave us a quote and also did the work the same day. We were really impressed with how quickly he worked, but everything he did was also high quality work. We called a few days later with a follow up question and Joey stopped by on his way home to help us out. Amazing company, prices, quality, and service!!

Fantastic service! Lawrence was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional throughout the whole project. I inquired about installing a central HVAC for my ground level home and a separate split system unit for the upstairs master bedroom since I was having problems getting air upstairs. Lawrence could have easily accommodated my request but instead saved me money by recommending a single central unit powerful enough to service the whole home. He provided clear communication with excellent follow through. I am grateful for his quality of work but even more so for his HONESTY! I absolutely recommend him.
