My husband and I used them because there number was on my A.C unit. First used them because my A.c was freezing up a couple months ago. They came and said it was because I had my A.c at 69 degrees and that i must leave it at 72 degrees... so i was fine with that. Just left told me no price. Then weeks days later sent random bill. I paid it and everything was fine.
Next issue. A.c just stopped working and it smelt like the motor blew. They came over checked it and saud he replaced the blower a year ago... but the motor went and blew out the blower also... he started to take everything apart and i asked... well can you at least tell me how much to make sure i can afford it right now? He says it should be no more then 500. And let them proceed. They replaced it and left. Then get a bill in the mail for almost 700$.
I was a little annoyed. And to make matters worse i found the model parts they used for a lot less online with free shipping then what they charged me...
After reading the reviews of them i can see this happens a lot. Yea i definitely do not recommend

When my wife and I built our house 14 years ago Clim-A-Temp installed the heating and air conditioning system. We have used them ever since for both regular preventative maintenance and on the few occasions when we needed repair service. We have always been very pleased with their responsiveness, professionalism and the quality of their work. They are also very reasonably priced.
This past Saturday morning, on a 90° day, our air conditioner stopped working. I called Clim-A-Temp’s answering service and in less than an hour one of their on-call servicemen arrived at our home. He quickly found the problem, repaired it and had the system working like new again in less than 2 hours after I called their answering service. I consider that excellent service.

These people came out and diagnosed a three year old unit. The problem was a iced up coil and they told us our compressor was shot. Called and got another opinion from a different company. They cleaned the outdoor coil and opened all the downstairs vents up because the renters closed the downstairs supply vents to get more air upstairs. I was advised that you can only do this on 1 or 2 vents not all of them. I asked for a report from climatemp and they had no report. If you want experienced technicians then don’t call them. They are a new construction company and know very little in service.

Called these guys to come out and repair our two ac units as it’s a big house. They came out and did very little work and were even complaining about our house while they were working. They were here for maybe 20 minutes and left without saying anything. Not long after the one ac unit went again and I repaired it myself since they did no work on it when they were here. Don’t recommend this company.

I called Clim-A-Temp because there was a sticker on my HVAC system with their number. The sticker read "call for service". The previous owners of my home used Clim-A-Temp one time in 2007 from what the rep that answered the phone told me.
While scheduling the service call, I asked for their rates and they stated it would be $125 for the first 30 minutes and $65 for each 30 minutes thereafter. My cooling was not working so I scheduled the service call for the next day. The rep took my credit card info over the phone.
The technician came out for 2 hours and corrected the problem. My rating was is not so much for the work itself since the tech did correct my problem and explained the cause but more so for their method of charge.
At the end of my repair I did not receive an invoice or anything stating the work done, the parts used, or my total charges. I called Clim-A-Temp after the rep left to find out what my charges would be and I was informed that they did not know yet because they did not have the tech's paper work in yet. I called again at the end of business but I was told it was after hours and they could not help, I should call back the next day. I call back the next day with the same question; what are my total charges for the work because I don't have any paperwork on the repairs. I could have a $300 or a $3,000 bill for all I know. The rep tells me that my repair documents had not been processed yet so she did not know what my charges were either. She said my work was in a bin and would be processed in a day or two.
I attempted one final call that week because I put my hands up in defeat. Still no one could tell me what my total bill was. One week later I am looking at my credit card transactions online and see a pending charge for $524 from Clim-A-Temp.
It is incredibly annoying that a service I paid for came with no accompanying documentation or itemization. The process is flawed and now I see why the previous owner of my home only used this company once.

They put a system in our house 4 years ago and they’ve already been to our house for service calls three times, once for the heating system and twice for the air conditioning. The issue with the air conditioning unit is the same and they keep charging us to come out, it’s like they don’t stand behind the product they installed!

Brian came over and fixed my heat pump 4 days ago . No issues since then . This guy is the best ! He’s smart, professional, and easy to talk to . He taught me more about heat pumps in 2 hours than I have ever known in my life . He fixed everything in a couple of hours ! Not days, Hours !If you have a Trane heat pump , call Clime A Temp ! They are the best ! And ask for Brian !

Called Clim-A-Temp because they were the company that installed the system in my house. Scheduled for a Monday. Took off work for that Monday, and they never showed up. What a joke. I’ve used them before for other repairs and trying to schedule those appointments was like pulling teeth. This last one was the final straw.
