BTU

Furnace went out Friday overnight, called BTU at 8:30AM on Saturday and again at around 2:30 PM Saturday afternoon, still haven't heard from them. By the time Shembeda plumbing arrived, it was too late to get the part needed. Hopefully will have heat back by Tuesday. DO NOT RECOMMEND

This winter when the temperatures were in the single digits my 30 yr old furnace stopped working. I called BTU. They removed my non working furnace and installed a high efficiency, space saving unit that provides both heat and hot water. My home is comfortable again.

Owner was extremely rude. I called for someone to come out for an estimate. I was not under the impression that I would then be charged over $200 since I found someone cheaper and went with them. When calling to speak to the owner about this misunderstanding, he was belittling and accused me of "taking advantage" of them and that any one "with a brain" would know they'd be charge for an estimate if they didn't follow through. Needless to say I will be staying far away from this business and learned my lesson.

Called for service. Was told they would return my call after finishing a job, and they never did.
Called for service, again. Was told they would return my call after finishing a job, and they never did.
Called for service, a third time. Was told they would return my call, and they never did.
Finally got back ahold of them because I now had 2 houses having issues, the guy came out and looked at both. He was nice, but I was expecting him to fix one of the issues we had spoke about on the phone. He shows up empty handed and gives me a quote.
Ended up not using this company because they quoted me more than twice as much as another local company to make repairs. When this other company showed up, they fixed it right on the spot for Less than half the price!
Although I did not use them, I still received a bill for $240.00 and when I (politely) inquired what the bill was for I was greeted with belligerence. That I had "taken advantage of skills", that they do the "most smartest" things for customers, they "don't work for free", "how do I sleep at night".
I wanted to know was why the bill was $240. He finally answered that it was $120 per service call. I thanked him and told him he should tell customers that beforehand (then I could have avoided the nasty phone call)
That was met with more belligerence and he hung up on me. Would not recommend.

I called to get a quote on a plumbing job for my home and was given a short hostel answer of no due to not wanting to do the job. Whatever happen to looking at the job before giving a response.

I needed a repair on my heating system for winter. Heard a lot of great things about btu, so I gave them a call, the owner was really nice. They got right to work. Very affordable as well, my heating is better than ever. They did an amazing job thank you so much btu. :)

Horrible customer service. Tried to get me to pay more than needed.
