    This company advertises on their website and all other profiles that they offer 24/7 emergency services but very clearly only operate 40 hours a week.

    After repairing a part for me 6 weeks ago, I found my furnace malfunctioning again and due to the recent repair I felt obligated to go through Rose Heating again in case it was the same part malfunctioning (as it would be under warranty). I called and left voicemails on 4 separate days (all during regular business hours) and did not receive a call back until I reached out to a competitor. The competitor (who does not advertise 24/7 services) was not able to schedule me for a few weeks but was kind enough to call Rose Heating while I was on the line to attempt to reach them directly. It was not until this competitor left a voicemail on my behalf that I finally received a response from Rose Heating.

    After explaining my gripe to Jim (owner of Rose Heating) he was not apologetic whatsoever and essentially told me I was free to use another company in the future. I was not offered any consolation and was charged for the full service fee and part that needed to be replaced.

    I'm extremely disappointed in their customer service for ignoring my voicemails for 5 days (while advertising 24/7 services). I fully believe I would have been ignored had the competitor not reached out on my behalf. Jim also did not understand why I felt obligated to use Rose Heating even after explaining that I, as a layman, have no way of knowing if it's the same part he had just replaced that is malfunctioning again.

    Jim will tout over and over again that they've been in business for over 60 years (3rd generation owner) and they're the oldest HVAC company in the state. However, inheriting a family business does not give you a pass to provide non-existent customer service. The success of his grandfather's business is not any indication that Jim will provide the same level of quality they might have once been known for.

    I had a service call in October. A technician (actually an owner) identified that I had a bad flame roll out switch and needed a part. A month goes by with no call. So I call. Receptionist tells me the part hasnt arrived.

    Today, heater is totally out; 55F in my house, and they won't come out until Monday. They had 2.5 months for a part and now its Christmas and I'm sans heat.

    Lousy Company. Lousy owners.
    They can't be trusted to do the job.

    I have used Rose Heating Co. twice and each experience has been amazing! Jim was our recent technican for a routine furnace and A/C maintenance visit. He was early, professional, and explained what he was doing as he went through the appointment. I'm very happy with the service and recommend this company for A/C and furnace maintenance.

    Company promised that they would be able to install AC in 3 weeks, unfortunately, it was delayed to 5 weeks due to "delayed components that they were waiting on". The install job, once they had all of the parts, was very sloppy and it didn't work. When I complained, they did come out the next day and redo the work to a much higher quality, which I was glad for, but it still was not as clean of an install as I would have liked, though everything did work. Jody, who owns the company I believe, is good guy and was nice to work with, but my experience with Rose was not the best. Granted, all of this happened during a massive heatwave the summer of 2021, so I'm sure they were being run a little ragged due to the high demand.

    Replaced my furnace and did a GREAT job. Rented the house out and about 8 months later the sump went out (not their fault) and the ceiling started to leak. My tenants let me know ASAP but I was out of town. I called Rose on a Sunday. They immediately called me back and sent one of their guys straight over... on a Sunday, valentines day, in a major Portland ice storm! TEN STARS!

    called and asked for services to have mold removed from the air conditioners Rose Heating installed themselves. was told to call their separate duct cleaners recommendations. when asked why they knowingly install air cleaners that develop mold that they wont back a guarantee and remove, Katrina at reception hung up on me. great to know they sell you an inferior product that will make people sick when you can not remedy the issue yourself when mold cant not be accessed without professional help. what a "great" product. thanks katrina!

    Rose Heating is incredibly responsive and willing to deal with my HVAC troubles. I thought my basement leak was from the HVAC system and they came out multiple times to try to trouble shoot. It didn't end up being from the HVAC system but they were patient and understanding of my problem and explained how the system works with easy to understand details. I will recommend them to everyone! Thank you!

    Rose Heating just installed a new HVAC system for us in our old house. They were super friendly and easy to work with, on time, fast, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I had 6 estimates from companies and they beat everyone's price.

We're very pleased with every aspect - the install, the face-to-face customer service, the reliable maintenance, and most importantly - the speedy and efficient emergency help.     Wish I would have called Rose Heating and cooling first. (ANOTHER COMPANY came out after making me wait a week, and then took 4 more days to give me a quote. A family recommended "🌹Rose Heating and cooling" so I decided to get a 2nd opinion ). Boy am I glad. The first company misdiagnosed and was going to cost me 500$. 🌹Rose Heating had my A.C. fixed in 20 minutes for only 150$ Thanx Jody for being quick and honest. You made a customer for life and saved me $$$
