Professional service delivered in a respectful, personal manner. They patiently answered mu numerous questions regarding furnace brands, output, size for house, etc. I was out of state at the time of the service, however, they kept me informed of when they arrived, progress on the job and completion of the installation as well as emailing me photos of the work in progress and the completed product. The worksite was cleaned before they left. I would highly recommend without any reservation Milwaukie Heating and Cooling for any and all your heating and cooling needs!

With a new basement construction project years ago, our contractor used Milwaukie Heating & Cooling to install/upgrade HVAC. So many years later, I rely on them for annual maintenance of AC + HVAC, any small repairs, and (it's been so many years), full replacement. Techs always arrive on-time, are very tidy and knowledgable. and provide consultation. Main office is equally excellent, providing guidance on bigger investments or clarity, if repairs. All prices are reasonable and this company operates with high integrity.

We hired Milwaukie Heating & Cooling for a couple big jobs on two properties over the past year and a half, and it's easy to give them a 5-star rating. They did awesome work!

One project involved the replacement of a high-efficiency furnace and installation of an AC unit at our previous home in Arlington Heights, a 1960s architectural gem by renowned Portland architect Saul Zaik. Milwaukie's team took a very thoughtful approach on the front end, discussing options, tradeoffs, costs and design implications. The install team followed up with excellent work, great communication and some smart innovations on the fly that really made for an clean result. Most importantly, the system worked flawlessly. Milwaukie was great about following up with us and making sure we knew how to operate the system.

The other project, more recent, was the installation of a 4-zone heat pump in our 3-story home in North Portland. It was a very complex job and we were all trying to minimize the visual impacts of a retrofitted system and create a sense that it had always been there. Not an easy thing, especially on a 3-story structure. Ultimately, through lots of good communication and collaboration, we settled on an approach that took creative advantage of the home's floor and wall framing to conceal lines for coolant and condensate. Executing the plan took a lot more time and attention to detail than Milwaukie had anticipated, but they followed through with great care and professionalism.

We worked closely with Rich Simila throughout installation of both projects. Rich is exceptional in the HVAC field - super smart, creative, very professional, a great communicator, and just a fun person to work with. He clearly cares tremendously about doing his best for the client and producing an excellent result. Rich stayed in close communication with us throughout the project and did an outstanding job anticipating challenges and proposing thoughtful solutions. Overall, he inspired a lot of confidence. His follow through with us was very personal and effective.

Great work Rich and team! And thank you Milwaukie! You significantly raised the performance of our homes and added a ton of value to our properties.

Milwaukee heating and cooling installed the heater in our first house, the heater in our workshop and now replaced our air conditioner. They are fast, efficient and polite. Got my inspection and the county inspector said they always pass first time. This company is the only one I will use!

Before you call this business, I recommend you wait for a job completed update on this review.

I had a tech come out yesterday, seemed very professional. But after service, problem got worse. A lot worse. Pro came out and said he would be back at 8:30 am.

After a sweltering night w/out a/c their office just called @9:30 (obviously nobody showed up when they said they would). Quoted price almost 400% higher than was given yesterday, and won't come out until later today.

I will update review when job is done.

Well, they charged $500 for replacing a part that you can get for $100 with one hour of labor. Strongly recommend you check elsewhere first. Very untrustworthy management.
