Have been loyal customers of Leon's for 20 years but something happened in 2021 and will not use them any more. Had tech out to repair shower handle. Handle worked worse after "repair" than before. Then had them out to snake lines. Same lines clogged a week later. Was charged again for the same job. Finally had another plumber in and found out the shower was not "repaired" appropriately and bad install has done further damage. Repeatedly called during office hours over the course of several weeks but never able to talk to a person. Left dozen's of voice messages but never received any return contact. The only contact is the dunn letter demanding payment for jobs they never did right to begin with. Bad work, not responsive. Shame on you!
I called to find out information about installing 4 faucets and a toilet, plus check the leaking of another toilet. I then called back to schedule, but told the woman (Lindsey) who answered the phone that it was only 2 faucets, both bathroom sinks, plus the toilets (one install, one check leak). I asked about an approximate cost and she told me it was $90 an hour and would take 2 1/2 to 3 hours, so I was expecting around a $300 to $350 bill. My bill CAME TO $515 since they (WITHOUT MY PERMISSION OR TELLING ME) also sent an apprentice with the plumber or an extra $45 an hour - basically the difference between what I was quoted and what I was charged!!! The day they came out, the said they didn't have the faucets on the work order and would have to return the next day. They did that and did a fine job. When I called to find out why it wasn't done on the first day, Lindsey said she didn't have it on the work order. I said I SPECIFICALLY said two faucets AND the toilets, and she repeated that she didn't have it on the work order. I told her she must not have written it down and she just once more said "it wasn't on the work order". EXTREMELY frustrating! Then I got the bill for $515 after expecting under $350. When I called about that I was told my husband scheduled the appt., even though HE DID NOT! He was the contact person for the install, but only said he'd be there the next day for the debacle of not having the faucets on the work order as they were supposed to be. I was basically called a liar more than once by the owner (or manager). I will pay the bill, but I will NEVER do business with Leon's again! Sad, because their service people are great, but the girl who answers the phone doesn't have CLUE and the people in charge will lie to your face! Read less
Had to call a plumber last week and called Leon's as a suggestion from a friend. A couple of guys showed up quickly, I was given notice before so I could meet them, they did what needed to be done, explained to me and offered a couple of different solutions (my faucet needed to be replaced- they could temporarily fix it or replace it. I chose to replace it). They got what they needed and had it installed quicker than I could go to Lowe's and pick out a faucet myself. The service I received was awesome. The guys knew what they were doing, I feel like it was a very reasonable price and there were no surprises. The office staff was also friendly. I would recommend them, and will use them in the future!
BEWARE this company. It is TRUE, their drivers are reckless and a danger on the roads. I was HIT by one of the drivers, Daniel Vermillion with one of their business trucks on 12th avenue where he did not use any blinkers and merged into my lane because he got impatient with the driver in front of him. He then decided to blame it on me to the police after I called them even with witnesses told me that he was indeed the one at fault. Shameful, lost, and I had to pay hospital bills and a tow truck because they don't want to admit at fault that he was at fault. Even more devastated because I know have to deal with insurances during a stressful time in my life. Shame on you Leon's!
I used to use them. After 5 or 6 trips to my house, with repeat trips, I gave up and called another plumber. The other plumber knew immediately what was wrong and fixed it. I had a broken sewer line. I would never recommend Leon's. Cost me a fortune! For nothing!
I recently moved into a rental house where my landlord had converted the garage into a master suite with a full bath. the people he had used tied the kitchen 2 of the 3 bathrooms and my washing maching into one center spot in the house, causing toilkets to back up and water to come up in my shower everytime i ran the washer or dish washer. i was unable to get it fixed myself and my landlord was clueless. 2 guys from Leons came out, not only did they run a cleanout through all my i guess bathrooms involved in the house, they also dug up the back yard ands completely replaced the piping with bigger pipes. in less than 2 hours. i got same day service and when they left they had my back yard looking like it was never touched. i have not had a problem since. life savers. my landlord was very happy with the cost. if i ever need a plumber again i will def call them first.
Great plumbing work for reasonable prices. They arrived as scheduled to install a new bathroom faucet and replace the shut-off valves. I also had them fix an old leaking toilet. I will definitely use them again for projects I cannot or do not want to handle on my own.
When it rains it pours. I had a multitude of issues from rotted pipes under concrete to an aging ac unit that wouldn't stay on in the middle of June. Leon's knocked it all out in less than a week. These guys rule. There isn't anything they can not handle or fix. If you need a pro call LEON's. I'm so glad i did!
Suffice to say Leon's customer service is garbage. Lindsey fails to fully discloses all charges before dispatching technicians. The technicians are woefully inept. The management staff has their strong arm technique down. I will never again do business with Leon's, I would sincerely recommend that you never do so either.
Normally, I'm not one to complain. I called because my dishwasher would not drain and was filled with rancid water. (which made my house stink) Nice guy came out checked the drains, which were clear. OK, but did NOT use a wetvac to suck out rancid water. He said that my washer was broke, they don't touch appliances, and he didn't have a wetvac in the van. I was told to GET a wetvac (I'm not a plumber) or scoop the water out of the dishwasher by hand. If you know before that the dishwasher is full of rancid water, wouldn't you remember to bring a wetvac? I was aware the appliance wasn't working right, but I expect better service when getting paid to come over and say that nothing is wrong with my plumbing, and that my dishwasher is broken... REALLY!? I don't have a wet vac, but I borrowed one and cleaned the dishwasher out so my house does't smell like death. A refund would be appreciated.
