Action Heat & Air of Collinsville AC Repair

We have used Steve for many years to service and maintain our system. The company is very thorough and professional. We will soon be in need of a new air conditioner and I will definitely use Action Heat & Air to get the job done and done RIGHT!

new units installed and they were very professional, punctual, and walked me through everything. I will be using Action for all my AC/heater needs going forward!

Today , when we got up, our thermostat read 72 degrees. By 2:00PM, the thermostat was still set on 72, but the room temp was up to 78 and climbing. I called Action and this very nice man, Kevin, asked some questions and then told me he would be right out. Within 20 minutes, he was here and went right to work. He had the problem solved within 30 minutes and we were back in business! Within 2 hours after that, our house temp was back to 72. They are very professional, courteous, and made our problem their priority!

Additional post- just wanted to report that 2 weeks ago when problem first occurred, we opted to have Action use stop-leak and see if that would correct the problem. It did until this weekend and back to no A/C.
Called Action this morning and luckily, they found time to come fix the problem for good.
I can’t thank them enough for coming out today. Always professional, courteous, and there when you need them!

Action air installed an entire system for us - indoor and out. Great company. Fair pricing. Responsive and fast. All the guys were so kind and professional.

Had our unit fill the upstairs with smoke. Called Steve and he came out first thing the next morning. He located the issue and had to run to town and get the parts and was back here this afternoon to fix us up. Amazing service and will definitely recommend to anyone in need.

UPDATE - our garage was struck by lightning in July. The downstairs unit compressor has some wiring fry. Steve tried to re-wire to see if he could save us money instead of just writing for replacement first. It didn’t work and we had to have a unit (which he didn’t charge for the repair attempt by the way). I’ll never use anyone else for my HVAC problems. Thanks again for everything.

Richard came out super late on a Saturday after my home warranty company jacked me around and finally let me find my own repairman. Got me fixed and running after about an hour. Ensured system was working and provided some maintenance tips. Hope I never have to see them again but when I do Action would be my first call.

I can't say enough good about Action Heat & Air of Collinsville. Steve did a great job on the installation, and has serviced my HVAC system every spring and fall. And since my new HVAC installation, my yearly electric and gas bills have been reduced by roughly 15%, and I have the data to back up my claim. Steve told me that my new American Standard system would save me money - and he was right. I would recommend Action Heat & Air of Collinsville for any and all HVAC needs. He is THAT good, and he backs up his claims, too.

Highly recommend! They were quick to respond when our air conditioner stopped working. They found the problem and fixed it right away. The guys were very polite, and friendly. We will call them again for service, and repairs.

Last minute call to Steve and he was on his to help fix our AC. Steve showed up, was up front with everything and made us feel comfortable. He was friendly and helpful on giving us professional advice on cutting costs on electric. Steve maintains the small town feel that Collinsville holds and highly recommend Steve and his company.
