CROOKS! Dont call. When I purchased my home 4 years ago I also got the extended "home warranty" program. My AC went out that first summer, and the home warranty place dispatched CM to work on my unit. I know nothing about HVAC so I trusted they would fix it correctly. It worked the remaining part of the summer.

Next summer, same thing happened again. I had 2 different trusted experts come by and diagnose the issue was due to a incorrect part that was "rigged" onto my unit with duct tape and whatever part they had in the van with them at the time.I contacted the Home warranty program and they sent Comfortmax Heating and Air back out to fix the issue and put on the correct part. It took 1 week to get the "correct part" available and then they came out, "fixed" the unit. They also charged me an extra $220 for disposal of Freon safely, blah blah. I trusted they did the right thing this time after being called out for the issue. WRONNNG.

This summer the unit went out again. What do you know, we found out the unit was rigged up again according to a different company that came out this time.. As soon as the tech opened the unit he mumbled "what in the world did they do".... According to him, they never replaced the compressor as stated and still had the incorrect capacitor on the unit with a jumper and should not been there.

DONT CALL THESE PEOPLE. They may get you working temporarily- but I promise you the repair wont be done correctly. BBB will be contacted. I'm really hoping the owner replies to this and see what answer he provides for the poor work
