When we first talked to Brad about a new Trane unit, he was very accommodating. Our issue, however, has been with getting the rebate from Duke Energy he told us was available when purchasing a new unit. Our unit was installed in Sept '20 and we began contacting him in Nov about it. We were told he had forms to fill out and it was time consuming but he would take care of it. Since then, we have reached out to him by phone, email and text messaging. Many many times he did not respond and when he did, it was with the same song and dance; he would apologize and said it would be taken care of. Fast forward to July/August '21. We still have not received our 300.00 rebate and his response at the end of July was, I thought this had been taken care of. We told him no, we never received a rebate, to which his response was, I will look into it. Sent him a text on 8/6 asking if he had heard anything. It is is now 8/17 and he still has not responded to the text message. We have left yet another voice message with him but since a full year is nearly upon us for when we purchased the unit, I guess we can kiss the rebate goodbye. We bought from Chilton because we had heard such good things about the company and while we are satisfied with the unit, itself, it was the promise of the rebate and his lack of following up with us and/or not even responding to our calls, emails, or text messages that has left us with no choice but give a less than satisfactory review for his company.

Do so appreciate to find a team to perform the task in a professional manner. Brad, Mike and James were thorough and neat and explained all my inquires in layman terms. Through the years have had several service calls and all neglected to inform us of the real problems with the system. Lastly, Brad installed for us a top notch Trane and complete overhaul of the ductwork in the crawl space for the same price as a competitor quoted us for Goodman. You may purchase a quality unit but your installer is just as important. Mr. Chilton you have a good crew and an honorable work ethic...others should try to emulate. Thank You

I rate my experience as an A+. My realtor recommended Brad Chilton. My heat went out two days before I had to leave for business in December. I called Brad in the morning as it was about 53 degrees in the house. He had my furnace up and running by 3 PM. While the problem was minor (vent door wasn't closing fully to register the unit as closed), Brad really got me out of a tight spot for only $80; he worked up a solution so the problem wouldn't happen again.

Chilton is always slammed (at least according to my realtor b/c they are so good), yet Brad still managed to get me up and running that day. It was awesome. I highly recommend Chilton and they will be getting my business in the future if there is a problem.

I had another company tell me my motor was dead and that I wouldn't have to replace my entire system including the ductwork. I called children's and within 15 minutes he had my air conditioning working. I did have to replace one part but it was not the motor. I'm more than happy with the service I received. They Ted told me I would have to replace my entire system initially before Chilton checked it.

Chilton came by checked the entire AC system, found the problem and fixed it in their first visit. Very professional. Another company the week before did not find the real problem and didn't repair it.
